“Other than my daughter not receiving her name on the certificate I loved it ... I just felt every child should have a place on their certificate and my daughter didn't receive one so it was a little disappointing because she should have one like all the other children there did. All children should be treated equal especially if they paid for it.”

“I attended the Materials Research Society (MRS) international conference, which focuses on materials science. This annual conference is held at this venue. The facility includes a spacious area for large corporate exhibition booths. All floors are accessible via escalators, and there are numerous conference rooms available for presentations. December 2024.”
“This was super fun for the kids (7,9, and 10). We prepared by watching the Liberty Kids: American Revolution series on YouTube. You get assigned a colonial character, attend a rousing meeting and then throw tea crates into the harbor! Followed by some very cool history lessons - I won't give away the surprises. Great use of modern tech to share historical knowledge. The tea room is a great spot for a snack after.”

“I visited this location for Valentine’s Day weekend. This luxurious hotel is located by the water. They offer various amenities, including a gym, an indoor pool, and a coffee shop located inside the hotel. I highly recommend visiting this hotel; you will not be disappointed. PS. “its a perfect base, especially if you are taking Amtrak / Acela. Its literally minutes walk and is in a safe neighborhood in downtown Boston. You could walk along the wharf pathway to north end or check out the markets or walk to Boston commons (all within 20 minutes). They recognize your ihg status so all is well. I watched a game at TD garden so took an Uber back - no drama. Rooms are pretty huge and they carry byredo which is nice”
“I am so grateful to have found Musicians Playground (MP)! After 25 years of doing little more than singing very loudly in the privacy of my own car, when for many years prior to that music was the majority of my identity, I rediscovered a part of myself that had been dormant, and it has brought me so much joy!
I think it’s easy as an adult to fall into routines that are mostly just productive and it can be scary to do something with the intention of just adding more joy to your life. Also, it’s really hard to meet new people as a working adult.
When I first called to find out more information about MP, a lot of things in my life had just shifted and I really needed to do something for myself. I wanted to be passionate about something other than my job (I’m a former speech pathologist and current special education team chair)! I was looking to get back into music, but I was also looking for connection. Seek and ye shall find!!
If I’m being honest, I was very nervous about the whole thing at first. It felt like a huge risk! Alyssa, the owner, assured me that MP was a community of adults enjoying music together. She sounded awfully serious though, even though I now know she’s just a highly trained musically talented goofball, and I worried. Would I be good enough? Would I fit in? Would it be worth it? Yes! Yes! And yes!
What lovely people, from every walk of life! What amazingly talented, engaging teachers! How remarkable to find a place where you can be true to yourself and have that authenticity mirrored by everyone around! What a wonderful sense of belonging! MP has increased my quality of life by leaps and bounds! Not only am I having so much fun in my private (voice with Tima, she’s unreal!) and group lessons (voice hits and piano fundamentals and band with Tima, Alyssa and Anika, literal rock stars!), I’ve had the unexpected pleasure of really loving learning new technique/skills (voice and piano) to the point that I am scheduling others that I’m gonna be starting soon (guitar).
Hey, if this chick, can sing with a band in front of an audience and have a blast doing it, then you can give MP a try! I truly cannot recommend Musicians Playground more highly!”
“Great second floor venue for small shows for crowds of up to 250ish. Complete with a full bar, small backstage area with three makeup mirrors, bright HD big screen projector for back wall of stage, stage lighting with lighting booth, audio booth. Venue also supplies chairs and small tables as needed. If you are hosting a fundraiser, or a large wedding reception, or a talent show, similar, you will love this space!”
“I held my pre-wedding event (Gaye Holud - traditional Bangladeshi event) at the Tirrell room without ever seeing the venue - and I absolutely LOVED the venue + team. The venue was extremely spacious and let in lots of natural light - the renovations are beautiful. And the team was just incredible to work with - Amy was there for me whenever I needed her help and always ensured I was taken care of throughout the whole planning process. Truly my favorite vendor from all of my events :) Thank you so much Amy & the Tirrell Room team ??”

“Great sound quality, even in the back where I was sitting. However, the doors to the venue are extremely loud and the ushers weren't stopping people from entering mid-song so it was a bit distracting with them opening and closing constantly.”
“A small museum, but a great selection of turn of the century automobiles. It's in an old carriage house, so if you are into architecture, you'll appreciate it. There are some early Japanese model cars there. This place is small, but the entry fee is modest, and they offer a military discount.”

“We attended this in Boston in a castle, which was a pretty cool experience. The Moonwalkers was fantastic. I loved everything - the story, the technology, the graphics, pictures, venue! They did a really good job telling the story with the history. I loved the imagery and really felt like we were on a rocket and walking on the moon!”
“Angela, Katie and the whole crew were absolutely phenomenal for our wedding this past Friday. The decor was lovely, they fully bought in on our Alice in Wonderland theme with all the greenery. Made space for dancefloor viewing. . On Point bartender whose name I didn't get but wish I had. Even when our cake vendor did not deliver our cake, Angela made sure that my guests still had cake and verified my (bride) favorite cake was there. My guests were none-the-wiser. The food was delicious, we had a large gluten free guest list and that was so good that the fully gluten free menu we chose made it so we did not have to compromise in any way. I cannot rave enough about their service and the space exudes class. Will post photos when I get them from the photographer.”
“Pros: nice rooms, well maintained, good breakfast, nice staff, over all good.
Cons: it’s NOISY. The highway noise is constant, sometimes worse than others. The rooms is noisy also, we heard all our neighbors and the hallway the entire stay. This is the first hotel it’s been this bad. I live in NY in a very noisy area and this was worse. Just beware.”

“We recently had our daughters 4th birthday party here and I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff. It's a hidden gem, very clean and well maintained. Also very spacious. All play toys and equipments work and are in perfect condition. The venue is quite beautiful too - gorgeous ceilings! The owner Brian is very responsive and accommodating and also the onsite staff is very warm and helpful. All the kids loved it there, we will definitely be going back for open play soon.”

“I would love to give this place a 5 star review because of the team that works there at the front desk. We came in after midnight and were greeted with smiles and happy people. Definitely will be back because the place left a great impression. 4 stars because of the Bathroom which wasnt cleaned properly and was out of everything needed for showering, yes I mean everything. No lotion, no gel and no shampoo and after midnight you just dont feel like walking around to get stuff. That was the only negative. The place is in a great location, with plenty of food options around, shops and great proximity to highways.”
