“What a beautifully located, appointed, and executed bed and breakfast! We stayed in Deer Pond room and it was lovely. The bed (bedsheets included!) was so comfy. The private bath met our needs perfectly. It is Lisa and the thoughtfulness she brings to what’s available (like a water cooler, fresh cookies every night, a fridge for guest use, and more) that makes it a notch above. We stayed two nights while in town for a wedding and would have loved to spend more time. It’s easy walking distance to beach and restaurants. And the views from the front patio and front facing rooms are wonderful. Highly recommend!”

“June 2026 was our first stay at the Palmer House after previously staying at a now defunct B&B many times. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Palmer House. We tried 2 different rooms, the cottage in the back of the property and the Emily Dickinson room in the main building. Both rooms were comfortable, quiet and well maintained. The only thing I would point out to people considering the Emily Dickinson room is that the bed is very high, there are a set of steps provided but people with limited mobility might struggle a bit. The included breakfast was excellent and offered options which isn't always the case in a B&B. The hosts Tom and Billy were great and very helpful. The location is just about perfect, it's an easy 10 minute walk into town so you don't have to try to park, and you can enjoy a couple of margaritas at Anejo guilt free! Overall a great experience and we've already booked for next year.”

“I can’t say enough how great this place is. We have two dogs, and many places don’t allow pets, but this one does. This place was very clean and the main lobby has so much more like drinks, snacks and souvenirs. It’s so much fun you can ride bikes for free and join amazing activities like yoga and family games. Also, the front desk guy, Pete, is absolutely amazing. He's very friendly and will recommend great places to eat and visit. I highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be coming back.”

“Great find. Walked into what looked to be a tiny room only to have two bed rooms, living room, kitchenette and spacious bathroom. Arrived after hours and left early so didn’t get to spend much time but would love to stay for a couple of days. Awesome beverage center for the morning grinds. Lots of amenities that we didn’t even get to enjoy. Highly recommend!!!”

“While the room was very clean with cute decor, there were a few flaws that I feel like I have to mention.

1. The AC in my room (#18) failed to adequately cool the room. I set it to 70 and the room never got below 75.

2. I could hear loud footsteps from the room upstairs, including at 12:30 am.

3. I received a call at 10 am the morning of check-out from the front desk staff asking me if I knew I had to check out at 11. That has never happened anywhere else I have stayed. I thought it was annoying and unnecessary…I get it if it’s 10:50 and I’m still not out, but 10?? Come on.

These don’t significantly detract from the stay I had, though. I enjoyed the ambience and vibe of my room and the location is extremely convenient to both the town of Falmouth and the beach. Overall more good than bad, but I have to take away a star for the issues I mentioned.”

“We had such a great stay at Falmouth Tides this past weekend! The staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always made us feel welcome. You can tell they really care about making sure their guests have a great experience.

The location is amazing—right on the water with beautiful ocean views, and it's within walking distance of so many great restaurants and cute little shops. It honestly felt like the perfect beach getaway.

One of my favorite parts was Little Blue Tides, the adorable coffee and pastry truck right outside the hotel. It was so convenient to grab a coffee and a pastry every morning before heading out for the day, and everything we tried was delicious.

I would definitely recommend Falmouth Tides to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on the Cape. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!”

“Stayed here for 2 nights while touring Cape Cod. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and we got great advice about the area including recommendations where to eat. Easy walking distance to the beach, ferry to Marthas Vineyard and Falmouth Main St for quirky shops and restaurants. Added bonus was the very nice small pool area. Definitely recommend.”

“The hotel was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. It was very close to the parking terminal for the Martha's Vineyard Ferry (about 5 min drive) and it's on Main Street and walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. The front office was very kind, and we loved the room. We'd definitely stay again!”

“Our lovely winter get away place. We've been on several multi night stays here at The Coonamessett. We have stayed in a king room, a king suite and this time, a queen suite. All were clean and comfortable. Desk staff are friendly and very helpful. We will be back!”

“Absolutely fantastic experience! From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and they even gave us a room upgrade. The room was spacious, clean, and had a great view.
Breakfast had a good variety and everything was fresh. The hotel’s location made it easy to get around and explore local attractions.
Special shoutout to Vanessa for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, perfect for both leisure and business travelers.
Thanks again for a great stay and we'll be back soon!”

“Rooms are nice. The furniture can use some updating. Hotle was recently sold, so updates should be in the near future. Near the parking lot to woods hole. A on site gym would be nice and complimentary coffee in the lobby if not breakfast like some hotels offer. Near area resturants. Also there is no elevator.”
