“We started going to Sylvia's over twenty-five years ago...when her location was in the Polish Home Block...we tried the new location..love the decor...meals were excellent and large portions...all personel were wonderful, and knowledgeable ...One way street throws a curve..but easily found..Sylvia will take charge assure you enjoy your visit !..Great food variety!”
“Went with my nephew who got me the VIP tour for Christmas. Simply put, it was amazing. Our tour guide, Kieth, was knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed what he was doing. The other staff we met along the way were just as great! Sitting in the cockpit of the B29 was the peak of the tour for me! Will remember it for a long time. Highly recommended for anyone interested in flight!”
“Place was very busy, but we were greeted and seated quickly. Our server, Paige, was very friendly and attentive even though she also had a party of twelve that she was handling (among other things!). We decided to sample soups and appetizers as our meal, so we started with French Onion soup and turkey vegetable soup. The turkey vegetable was just delicious and the French onion was average. Our appetizers were an absolute delight! We had seafood stuffed mushrooms, grilled sea scallops with honey apple maple glaze, shrimp tempura with coconut lime drizzle, and butternut ravioli in a nutmeg cream sauce. What a delight for the tastebuds! Everything was perfectly cooked and presented. We decided to try the chocolate torte for dessert and were not disappointed! It was warm and gooey and so good! What a great evening!”
“This old historic barn is a lovely local spot for many kinds of functions and has recently been upgraded to a lovely wedding venue, serving CT and MA couples. A beautiful new maple dance floor was installed just a few years ago and it is great to dance on! Why not have your next event here -- a unique special place!”

“We had our 45th wedding anniversary party at the Brass Rail. Jen, the owner, was great to work with and the staff were excellent. The venue offered different options, and all had something special. We selected the newly renovated downstairs area since it was in July. The temperature was perfect for dancing and the room was beautiful and elegantly decorated. They had just added new colored up-lighting. We chose the blue up-lights, which created a dramatic effect. Jen gave us enormous flexibility and her willing creativity allowed us to have the event we wanted. We only had one thing go wrong and she listen to our feedback and provided the compensation we requested. The test of an exceptional business is not always what goes well but how well they deal with feedback. Jen is an exceptional businesswoman who makes the Brass Rail outstanding!Al & Maxine”

“My family and I went to the spaghetti dinner. It was delicious. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very tasty. It's a nice community event. First Wednesday of each month. $8 for 12 and up. It comes with a salad and a roll also. You can get drinks at their bar. $1 for a soda.”
“Pretty awesome course, well worth the money and the drive in my case. The rolling hills were fun and challenging greens were in great shape compared to others in mass. Also some great views this time of year! Would recommend”

“This is a great place to host a child's birthday party. I had my daughter's 5th and 10th birthday parties here. The staff is great with the kids. They have lots of fun activities for them, as well as free play. The way they move things along from start to finish is very organized, and takes away the stress of hosting a kids party. I would definitely recommend MyGym Enfield to others.”

They have great beer, excellent food, and sometimes there is live entertainment.I wish I could give this place a 6th star...We finally were out this way again today and I had a CBH Kolsch that our server Brianna recommended and it was good. “I attended Oktoberfest at Hilltop Farm in Suffield on Oct. 7th, which was quite enjoyable even though we were hit with a wild rain storm. What a beautifully renovated old barn. Old Country provided the food and it was some of the best I’ve tasted for an event catering to easily over 300 people. The kielbasa, pulled chicken and brisket were so scrumptious that I went back twice! My wife loved the pierogi. Really nice job and the help was really pleasant. “This venue was fantastic. I wish I lived closer when I had my wedding because everything was great and I would have definitely chosen this venue. The staff was excellent and the only complaint I could possibly give is the lemon chicken was not to my liking but everything else that was served was great. I felt like I was in an episode of American Pickers as I walked through the well designed old factory and everything displayed was tastefully done. 5 stars and would recommend this venue to anyone for any occasion.”

“After being let down by another hotel, my family and I lucked out with this one. I called late night the day before having to check in and Kyla was great. She automatically assigned my rooms so they can be connecting. Once we arrived, we were helped every night by Larry. He was great, he went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. Free hot breakfast was good, rooms were in great condition. Only thing I would say is get bigger fitted sheets for the bed and in the bathroom the tub spout should be replaced. Definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you”

“Today, November 16, 2023, I'm re-writing my review of four years ago. We've visited a friend in the area for many years and always stay here. The rooms are very clean; it's great to have a kitchenette, and the indoor heated pool is a wonderful spot to relax. The staff at the front desk are friendly and personable....a special shout-out (Yay!) to Manager Susan. Both Mary and Sundip were very welcoming this past week. And a big 'thank you' to all others who work so hard 'behind the scenes' to provide a comfortable experience! Highly recommended, EXCEPT: TERRIBLE MATTRESSES! The new pillow-top mattresses are ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! It's like sleeping in a hammock. The only way to get into bed is to crawl in on hands and knees. Worse, try to turn over and you have to pull yourself up out of the abyss; it feels like you've fallen into marshmallows. Getting out of bed means crab-crawling on your back. The most used side of the bed is the worst as it is the most concave. The original mattresses were very comfortable. Pillow-tops are the WORST DECISION EVER BY CORPORATE MANAGEMENT!”
“About 70 family members gathered after a funeral for a family member. The buffet food was excellent. Every bit was cooked appropriately and loaded with flavor. Service personnel were friendly and helpful. The room was bright and clean .”

“This is the first time I have stayed at this hotel. I was surprised at how nice the hotel was and how friendly the staff were. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Parking is so convenient, and I can see my vehicle from the window. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.”
“Very cool venue for bands. Acoustics are great due to the wood structure. They sized the crowd just right with the amount of tickets sold, not too packed. We saw Sage King's tribute to Chris Cornell, Revelations, who shared the stage with Brock Landers' Real Thing - An Alice In Chains Experience for the ultimate GRUNGE NIGHT. Plenty of good sight lines to the stage from multiple levels, including the lofts. Parking was easy and they had staff guide parkers. There was also a Bears food truck and alcohol served onsite.”

They have all the major sports channels- it’s nice during the week to relax with a group of friends after work or on the weekends after going to the gym. Very conveniently located. The beer is cold and there is a great selection. Love the food- great appetizers. Parking is free and we’ll lit- on warm days you can sit outside and watch TV from two screens- like California living. The wait staff is fantastic! Mixed drinks tasted with the right amount of kick!
