“We got a recommendation for Dave's Auto Machine to work on our X50 Volvo. Dave is amazing. We showed up at 5:55pm (he closes at 6) and he took the time to talk to us, look at the car and give us invaluable information. He knew what was going on with our car's turbo, so he referred us to his friend's place, Anything Automotive. He said Jeff, Adam or Mark would be able to help fix our turbo. They were so awesome. We spoke with Mark. He checked out our car, got the parts ordered and fixed it in less than a week for $650. FIRESTONE had it for over a month and quoted us 2500. When we went to Dave's Auto Machine, he said he just had a customer who came from Firestone with a similar issue (they are less than a mile from each other). Hope this helps.”
“Brought my s4 in because it was dumping fuel and misfiring. Nick found that it was a bad crank case right off the bat. All he asked for was a down payment for the part. I had to wait a month but it was worth it. He took it in, replaced the crank case. Took it for a drive and was still misfiring on cylinder 3. He checked the spark plug and it was not the right plugs for the stage 2 tune I have on the car. He replaced it with a stock but informed me and helped me get the right ones. When I picked up the vehicle he explained everything he did, very informative and genuine. He is very experienced with tuned vw Audi vehicles. I recommend vw Audi owners rt’s over eurodesign any day!”
“I used Viola's multiple times to help with my 2010 Honda Pilot (patched up exhaust even though that's not their normal service, and replaced front axel). They were honest with what should be done and what doesn't really need to be worried about on a 175,000 mile truck that drove 16+ hours per week. They were reasonable with their pricing, and while they can be a touch disorganized (ancient document management processes), they made sure to take great care of me and my truck. If I still lived nearby I would only use them to take care of my vehicles in the future. Bravo for being one of the last *real* mechanics around!”
