“Such a local gem. This place has everything! Jams and dips and snacks, fresh produce, most of it grown on the farm, meats and poultry, baked goods, prepared foods, tea, cheeses, and so many beautiful dried flowers, it’s heavenly. Their selection is truly amazing. Great place to shop for host and holiday gifts.”
“Recently I was shopping at Market Basket in Plaistow, and things were very busy. I got to the deli and took a number and there were over 20 people ahead of me. So I went to the end cap where they sell prepackaged sliced deli meat, hoping to save myself some time. But the end cap was filled with only the most expensive meats and cheeses. So what is the purpose of the end cap? I would hope that a store like Market Basket would put the most popular and the sale items in the end cap in order to save their customers money and time. Instead I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. This is not what I expect from Market Basket .
I hope you will take this into consideration and maybe next time I'm in the store things will be different.”
“I love this place. Its simple, not a ton of variety, anesthetic leaves a lot to be desired, but lower market prices on "home-made" food items made onsite is a refreshing change from the usual high priced farm stand pricing. Soup bar, as mentioned by many is top tier.”
“Crucial supermarket! Prices, product and staff change regularly, but you will find everything from milled flax seed to Boo Berry to seaweed snacks. I'm glad I am allowed unlimited daily visits, as I wind up shopping for neighbors, and often forgetting important ingredients. Keep up the excellent work!”

“I avoid grocery stores as the hustle and bustle gets to be too distracting and loud for me. But this experience, shopping at what I would consider an older Market Basket (I still call it Demoulas!) was fabulous!I feel their selection of foods, especially as someone who loves to cook/eat Italian, is the best I've seen in any grocery in the area.The folks were friendly and I even exchanged recipes standing in the produce section with fellow shoppers!The scali bread is soft inside, crispy outside as it should be! No one makes scali like Market Basket!Our cashier was hysterical and we giggled our way through the checkout line. A nice experience all-in-all and this is where we'll do the bulk of our grocery shopping from now on while staying in the area!”

However, purchased what I thought was fresh beef today that said sell by Oct 8 (todays the 5), I opened it and it was brown under the where the sticker price is and all throughout the meat. Disappointed, I thought they carried high-quality meats. Would add pics but already threw it away!”

“Went to the butchery in Newburyport tonight. I was looking for a pork cutlets. There was none in the case. I asked the butcher and he happily cut me six beautiful cutlets. He was very happy to do this and even came to find me in the store and asked if they were thin enough for me. Just when I think customer service has gone by the wayside I was very impressed by the service I got I did not get his name, but he had a Red Sox cap on.”

“The only thing that I dislike and it seems like this a problem in every MB I venture to... the lack of fresh donuts. ? ? ? No matter what time of the day I go, there's never any donuts in the glass bakery rack. And if so, there's probably 2 or 3 dry crumbled muffins. You would think there would be fresh items every few hours, but that certainly isn't the case.”

“In this Stop & Shop getting quality/fresh fruits, vegetables and chicken. It is a small shop and having sufficient parking lots. However, if you're a smart shopper and you have their app, you may find sales and discounts that level the playing field in terms of cost.”

He personally put the order together and delivered it to her house himself in a 20 minute window. Thank you Rick for your help today . It was appreciated more than you will ever know”
“Shopping on State Street, I stopped in at the Stonewall Kitchen Newburyport Company Store. The flagship store in York, ME and several company stores are close to Dover, NH where I live. Stonewall Kitchen is a favorite place to shop for fine foods for the holidays and gift-giving. At the time of my November 2021 visit, I was shopping for the November and December holidays. I went for the household favorite Gingerbread Butter at $7.95 first, followed by the Gingerbread Pancake & Waffle Mix at $9.95 and Peppermint Hot Chocolate at $11.95, and finally the Chocolate Peppermint Sauce at $7.95. I rate Stonewall Kitchen at 5.0 and highly recommend stopping by to pick up some of the company’s high-quality, delicious foods.
