“I used to live in 2 Grafton Common, just across from the Inn 25 years back and I knew the Inn's location. It was a historical building, nice, lot of modern amenities yet in old style which I personally like. Clean and comfortable bed, spacious room, bathroom is ok. Appreciate the fridge and hair dryer. The only thing is that I spent 1 night there in the beginning of October and there was no room heater. It was not super-cold but as I went there from Arizona, to me it was cold. I noticed it in night but didn't call the host for it as it was not terrible cold or freezing. But my suggestion would be to put a room heater. The tea-coffee arrangement is nice. I must appreciate the host's nice communication and appreciate that he did let me do early check-in. Grafton is a quaint small town with lots of trees in Common across from the Inn and I enjoyed it immensely but I must write that there was no front desk/reception in the building, the room key was in the lockbox, the front door stays open, inside light is dim, my room was No. 7 on 3rd floor with dim-lighted corridor and there was a small you get when you enter in an old house......to me all these were ok but may not be to everybody. An alone person may feel eerie or unsafe there. I stayed there for October 9, 2023.Walkability: you can walk in this quaint town and enjoy the greenery.”

“The room is very nice and clean. The location is convenient to restaurants (American, Italian and Asian food) and plazas. The UMASS medical school is right besides the hotel. However, there is no hot water or coffee provided unless you ask the onsite restaurant for it.”

“Nice rooms, but the gem here, and the reason I enjoyed my stay so much, was because the staff were so kind, helpful, and made me feel incredibly welcome. I appreciate them so much. Marriott- give all of these people a raise!! They deserve it.”

“I’ve stayed here numerous times when back in the area for leisure trips. I’ve never noticed any odors other than the cleaning supplies the staff uses to keep the place spotless. My rooms have always been comfortable, well-maintained and quiet. The breakfast is outstanding— plenty of fresh choices ranging from eggs/potatoes/meat to cereal or oatmeal; yogurt and fruit; pastries and make your own waffles, toast, etc. There is always an attentive staff member available to replenish and wipe down tables as needed. And the tables are always decorated with current and cute holiday decor! Highly recommended this hotel.Rooms: Always clean and comfortable with heat/AC keeping preferred temps; refrigerator; microwave; large surfaces; modern furniture; plenty of closet room; good lighting; innovative personal care provisions (wall mounted containers of shampoo/conditioner/gel soap in shower and lotion near sink - all in clean, plentiful plastic bottles). Plenty of clean towels. Soft bedding.Nearby activities: Auburn has a mall, mini golf and many restaurants available. Within a few miles of Worcester with many more attractions.Safety: The hotel has the usual door protections; someone at the front desk at all hours; fire safety protocols in place. I’ve always felt safe staying here.Walkability: Shopping and dining options within a short walk of the hotel.Food & drinks: See my review about breakfast — worth getting up to enjoy! And it is available early and later than many hotels’ breakfast hours too!”

“I went to visit a friend that is staying here for a few weeks while the water damage in her apartment gets cleaned up; so they rent weekly. It was upwards of a little under 5 big ones a week, but in a pinch ya gotta do what you gotta do.The room was a single large room with comfy king size bed in the middle. There were ample table space and the room was clean. Not white glove, but unless you do it yourself nowhere is. There is a Walmart icecream stand, gas station and restaurants all within walking distance. Oh and the plaza has a dollar tree, cheap movie theater, nail shop and across the street has restaurants, tech School ,shops as well. Also there is a security door to access the rooms although there is a door/balcony for personal use as well.”

“Pool - The pool water was cloudy and a few days later my daughter got sick. The water was freezing cold, and when I mentioned this to the front desk staff, they seem confused and did not know what to do. I asked if they could contact maintenance but they didn’t. The surface around the pool was slippery with chipping, paint and holes. One child with me fell and skinned her knee.Guests- At the pool were incredibly rude. They were smoking pot right in front of the other children which made the entire pool area stink.I was too horrified to even use the room so we left after using the pool.”

“I'm surprised at the negative reviews, so much so that I wonder if we stayed at the same place. The bonuses: Free parking, Free breakfast, no "resort fee," close to downtown (which is very nice and well-lit at night with a lot of activity). Room was super clean, neat, cooled down when I got there, had a coffee maker, comfy bed, with 4 pillows. Complimentary breakfast was awesome: pancakes, toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fruit, coffee, bagels, cereals and oatmeal. I don't know what else you would need for breakfast. Front staff was cool. Lobby was welcoming and neat and clean, no issues with the room. Parking lot was well-lit. I didn't give 5 stars bc nothing is perfect but I'd stay there again. I prob saved $30 for breakfast, 60 for resort fee, just as much for two days parking. Less than 10 min walk to DT, lot's of restaurants, breweries, bars, etc. (ok, I coulda done without the loud personal calls by one employee in the lobby, as well as Friday night teens that are giggly and inconsiderate door-slammers but that's on the parents)”

“I stayed at this hotel in June for six days, had a wonderful experience. I just stayed there again recently (September) for another six days and encountered the same staff who were very professional, met all my needs, and worked very hard to please. Would like to specifically mention the Front Desk folks-Deseri and Zuleine who work long hours and always have a great attitude, especially friendly and welcoming. Chester the Manager was great to talk with, very friendly and doing a great job at this hotel. The free full breakfast was wonderful and the staff were constantly re-filling all the food and beverages and constantly wiping counters so it always looked very inviting. I am looking forward to my next visit to Residence Inn Framingham and highly recommend this hotel, the location was close to Mass Turnpike and 495 which makes it a great starting point to go everywhere.Rooms: Although it is an older hotel, I have been there three times over the years and have never had any problem with my spacious room or accommodations.”

“It was a room in the front as you drive in..I came prepared but I didn't need any bug supplies...no bedbugs,no cockroaches, no hair in the tub or sink..refrigerator & microwave were clean..towels were clean, bedding had some old stains on the bedspread & sheets...there were some minor maintenance issues with a leaky faucet in the bathroom sink & some rain water seeping into the room under the air-conditioning unit during a strong downpour of rain..laundry room had 2 washing machines & dryer..1 washing machine out of order...apparently maintenance visits 3 times per week @ this Inn..Staff were very helpful & polite @ the Reception& you do need to patiently wait a while @ the Reception desk but staff does appear..Be aware that 30 day stays @ this Inn are not allowed- you must leave the premises on day 27..Unfortunately, it doesn't tell you this when booking online thru the main Red Roof Inn website..it left me scrambling for other accomodations. All in all it's a cute place to stay for a few nights. Conveniently located not too far from Worcester..entrance from highway is kind of hidden..there are gas stations on both sides of the highway..”
