“I had 2 health concerns regarding my 12 year old shih tsu. His hearing seemed to be failing and he was limping on his right front leg. As always the staff is caring and patient. I appreciate that treatment discussions included a conservative and less expensive approach. For now his hearing will be monitored and simple pain meds seem to be helping with the limp.”

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Slade. Im from NY and drive all the way out to them for reproductive services for my dogs and wouldn’t have it any other way. In the time leading up to my visit, both their wonderful tech, Jessy, and Dr. Fiamengo answer countless questions for me via phone and email with care and detail. I recently went to them for a TCI on my female and it was the first time I used this method for breeding so of course I was nervous. But once I arrived, my nerves were put to ease. They were very attentive, kind and paid attention to every important detail needed for a seamless experience. Dr. Fiamengo and her assistant, Nicole, allowed me to come into the room for the procedure and talked me through the process as she was performing the procedure on my dog. This allowed me to feel at ease and help my dog stay calm and as happy as possible. Following the visit, I received a very detailed follow up email with all information on next steps including when to schedule important visits and aftercare.
All of this to say, if you are looking for a vet that truly cares and is extremely educated in what they're doing.. Slade is the place to go!”

“Liz Maloney has been my vet for years and she is a great diagnostician for lameness , back , shoeing and ulcer issues among others. She has kept my event and dressage horses going throughout their careers with chiropractic, acupuncture, miso therapy , shock wave etc as well as joint injections when needed. My semi retired event horse is 30 and still being ridden thanks to Liz!”

They have been so compassionate and helpful throughout this whole process. They've taken such good care of our boy, and also been so, so kind to us while we've been on the emotional roller coaster that is dealing with a sick pet. Dr. Langer unfortunately had to give us some bad news, but she was so gracious, sympathetic, and patient while answering all of our questions and making sure we understood all of the information and next steps. Nothing but kind people that work here. My girl was dropped off and left with no anxiety at all and she’s still the happy loving puppy she was I dropped her off.
