Switching banks is never an easy decision. I called around, and I finally got to Bank of America — they were exactly what I needed for my life right now.
I wanted to switch banks today, so I called Bank of America to ask a few questions. Their customer service department was very knowledgeable and answered everything I asked, so I decided to make an appointment to open an account at the Holyoke location.
David, who I had my appointment with, was amazing. I had my kids and husband with me, since I put my husband on the joint account. David asked if the girls would like to color during the appointment, which was super nice. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions throughout the process. During the process he even explained another bank account setup I could get for my girls when they’re a little bit older. He also gave me his business card for when I’m ready to set up my other two accounts with them.
In that appointment, David said something that stuck with me: “The bank is supposed to fit into your life, not the other way around.” I definitely felt that. The bank is supposed to fulfill my needs, not the other way around.
I definitely have peace of mind now at a bank I wasn’t sure about at first. I’d been with my other bank for a very long time, but unfortunately had to close my accounts with them due to a financial issue.
So glad I made the switch to Bank of America.”
