“I rent from them all the time the staff is great they accommodate you in anyway they can It's a rental place and they have to deal with people destroying their vehicles because their rentals and not four wheelers people abuse him them and do damage and then get upset because they don't want to pay for the damage I've been renting there for years never once have I had a problem but never once have they had a problem with me bringing vehicles back with damage people get upset when they break something and don't want to pay for it when I go there I make sure and ask for the cleanest and nicest vehicle I bring it back the same way I have never had a problem that's the policy so are you people that are mad don't destroy their vehicles and you won't be charge for it it's very simple respect their properly as if it was your own”

“No issues renting U-Haul truck here. Could use more staff sometimes I came and no one was at front desk. During open hours they were away. I had to come back later.But truck rental was fine.There is a key drop off place.Toll gets billed to you later. Stay off storrow and memorial.There is keurig coffee in here and couches to sit.”

“I had a perfectly fine and uneventful experience at this UHaul location. I don't write reviews much but given all the bad reviews I wanted to let others know it is definitely possible to use this location and not have anything go horribly wrong. The van I reserved was ready when we arrived and the return process was quick and easy. There is no parking on-site so I parked in the Green Street garage nearby in Central, 2$ per hour on the weekend up to $13 max, as of October 2023.”

“This is my first time renting from this location and I will do it again. First of all it was not sooo packed that the environment is overwhelming for people like me then I don come in keep in mind I was a mess because I was two hours late to pick up my reservation ok the two young gentleman made me feel better and relaxed because of crazy life sometimes. Then I was running a little late and they worked with me and I left there very happy doing business with them”

“Did not had any issues, it was an easy set up (pick up and drop off) and very friendly client facing personal.Don't recall the name but the worker who helped was friendly and open to answer all of my questions, explaining all of the options if I might not be back by closing hours.Update:I ended up coming back after hours and did the process of returning the truck through the app and left the keys in the uhaul box.”

“Negative reviews don't align with my experienceOnly criticism I have is placement of plastic trash barrel next to Customer Service entranceAllston/Brighton has vicious Rat problem - that can be verified with city 6-1-1 - it has little to do with how clean/dirty area is; that being said, there are necessary steps/interventions to control issueRats are like hybrid, steroid, small dog sized, bold & disease-ridden - be very mindful entering/exiting after darkAs I approached to toss Starbucks trash in, whole barrel shook & moved - I knew exactly what it was & warned Customer Service Staff & other customers Cardboard is literal Rat Candy, so of course they lurk around U-Haul but a steel trash barrel with a lid or even more mindful placement away from Customer Entrance would be helpful (Rats can't chew thru steel - they literally eat thru plastic barrels - this one is no exception)Staff were very helpful - Isaiah checked me in answering all questions, explaining details as well as upgrading & discounting rental - didn't catch name of man processing return but he too was very helpful & mindful of expenses- excellent Customer Service Equipment was clean & well-maintained as wellMy experience was excellent Highly recommend Brighton location”

“I rented my uhaul from here. Nice and helping staff. They went above and beyond to help me get the uhaul booking done though there were some technical problems with the app.Unfortunately, my car parked here was towed by a towing company by mistake. We thought the car was stolen as the towing company didn't even record that transaction to uhaul. After some troubles of going through a police complaint etc. I got my car back.I appreciate the staff here. They were very supportive when I was going through this process.”
