For the prices you pay at Ethan Allen charging so much for delivery seems like price gouging.”
“Look No Further! We had a terrific experience with everyone at A.D. Cola. Tony in particular was extremely helpful, especially becuase we were so unsure as to what we wanted. We went to browse before making some decisions about new lighting in our kitchen, and two outside lights. We found exactly what we needed. Although their in-store inventory is more than adequate, they can order practically everything, and will give you mountains of catalogs to look through. Also this is shopping local, the quality of what they're selling is high and their prices are competitive.”

Immediately upon entering the store, we knew we'd found it. The experience was perfect, and there was no sales pitch. There doesn't need to be when the product is at this level of beauty and quality. I learned a lot during this process, and I developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and care that it takes to make and import our new set. “If I could give 10 stars, I would. What had happened was... I had dropped off a piece of art to be framed. It was ready on a Friday but I was running late, so I just figured I would pick it up on Monday. Monday was the day that this artwork would be presented as a gift at an event in the afternoon. Now it turns out that they are closed on Mondays WHICH IS CLEARLY PRINTED ON THE DOOR. They are open on the weekend and I, being not too bright sometimes, did not look up the hours. COMPLETELY MY FAULT. So I panicked. Then emailed at the contact info on the website begging for help. One of the owners called me within a few minutes and then he came to the store to let me get my art. Understand, this was all my fault and they had no obligation to do this. “I've been a costumer to this amazing store for more than 12 years. And always loved it! Great selection of ideas for gifts, and the owners are super nice! So is the cashier who always greets you with a warm "hello". Reading Peter V. comments on here, saying that he was (or maybe more like THEY were - they, being a group of young kids) "chased out" of the store (with a fist) I'm certain that the reason the cashier had to ask them to leave the store was validated by the fact this GROUP of young teenagers were disrespectful to the store merchandise (were you there Peter V?), by trying on a few items and throughing them back in the shelves. Not just nicely placing the items back, they were actually throwing things like eye glasses and other things around after posing with the merchandise for pictures. Kids these days lack good manners. And that is not an acceptable attitude to be proud of... you may be a parent "protecting" your offspring, but first of all, good mannered we learn from home!”

Some may say it’s pricey but I believe the quality and service is beyond worth it. When I first moved in into my apartment was during the pandemic and yet they still manage to get the furniture at a reasonable time frame where most places said MONTHS to A 1 year. First thing i bought was my bedroom set, the service and quality made me want to keep buying but I was very hesitant on which dinning table and chairs to get as well as my coffee table for my living room area, and lastly my bar stools for my breakfast counter. I wanted white & gold but i also wanted grey & silver, HomeBasix helped me put it all together and it came out PERFECT. I also bought some finishes touches like my curtains, decor and wall frames. Everyone who comes to my apartment loves my furniture and decor and asks where is from, I have HomeBasix to thank for! Thank you for your patience and great quality!! Truly recommend it!”

“One of my favorite stores. I can always count on going to The Crafty Yankee and finding the PERFECT gift for the person I am looking for. The only difficult part is holding myself back from buying for other loved ones and myself while there! I always come out with more than I planned. The beautiful unique items is not the only reason to visit this amazing store. This family run business is owned by the most kind compassionate people I have ever met. They go above and beyond to be helpful. It is clear this is not done just to make a profit but because they genuinely care about their customers and locals that they serve. From my experience they are especially kind and caring to the neighborhood children that come into the store. It is a wonderful feeling knowing our kids have places in town where they are looked after and treated well. I only hope this store continues to thrive !”
