“A followup visit. Two Vterinarians and three staff members converged on the case. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Visit included a detailed physical exam, abdominal ultrasound exam, discussion of findings of the exam:, an IV drug administration, and a topical medication. Ultrasound was forwarded to our primary care vet. All this was conducted with professionalism, courtesy and compassion.”
“Great selection. Responsive and helpful staff. Quality appears good. Only concern was the push to purchase expensive ‘protection plans’ due to limited manufacturers warranty. Are these really quality products if the manufacturer is reluctant to warranty?”
“We stopped at Concord Lamp & Shade with some lamps we found and little knowledge about lamps/buying shades. We got an education and beautiful shades that we are thrilled with! For a relatively small shop they had so many options and we found exactly what we wanted. We were able to take them home for a day and see if they worked in the space before purchasing them, which worked very well for us. Such a great experience!”

“Anime Zakka is a nice store located near the end of Newbury Street, close to Uniqlo and Muji. It is below ground, leading you into a place to be immersed by anime and Japanese pop culture.
I enjoyed browsing and wandering around the store, as there were many products I’ve never heard of or seen. I found Tomica cars, a product I’ve never seen in Boston before but know many car collectors may enjoy looking at. I also found many stuffed animals I never knew existed for products I like, such as Miffy.
The only downside is the products I did know were overpriced. I am a big fan of collecting lottery items, and they were nearly double the price at the store compared to what I could buy it for at online retailers.”

“We had our 15 year old Lutron shades replaced by Hunter Douglas motorized shades from Tyler and Sash several months ago. We worked primarily with Shaun, but we interacted with many of the staff and they were all extremely helpful. The installation went smoothly, with the minor glitch that one of the 6 motors was making a slight sound, which the installer immediately pointed out and replaced a couple weeks later. Since then we've had flawless operation using the scheduling feature on the app -- closed at sunset and opened at a specified time in the morning. We were a little apprehensive at first, as the price was half of what Lutron had quoted, but the quality of the H-D product is good and so far everything works as promised.”

Hasan was very knowledgeable on the products and helped me find great options that were stylish but also resilient to my busy household with kids and a dog. “We had a great experience at Fitzgerald tile. Knowledgeable sales representatives , great selection of tiles and fabulous mini-displays showing combinations of different tiles and grout. For our construction project, we are building a bathroom that will be for an individual with mobility and vision issues. We were so fortunate to be greeted by Shawn when we walked into the showroom. Not only did Shawn do a great job helping us choose tiles that we love, he was very knowledgeable about safety considerations in bathroom design. We really appreciated all the information he was able to relay and his assistance in choosing tiles that we love and meet our unique needs.”

“What a fabulous giftshop. I signed up for a class that was held in the back of the store. The class was to make a hand scorched cheese tray. Before class I had the chance to walk around the store and look at all the fabulous gifts. Staff was super nice and helpful when I had questions. They offer great hands on class all year...and a wide selection of cute gifts. I look forward to taking another class and buying gifts there...”

“Fantastic collection of beautiful things! I could have stayed here all day!! MK seals the wonderful energy in the shop! Very helpful and warm, knows her merchandise and artists well and took all the time I needed to learn what I was buying, who made it, where it came from etc., which will forever be a part and f the priced I chose and make them them all the more special to me! And she did all that with multiple customers in the shop. We all got treated like we were the only ones there.
Customer service is becoming a lost art, but you can find it here with MK! I am a sales coach on ho-Trch and I love and appreciate great service. I really have little tolerance these days for anything less. I would have walked out if I hadn’t been greeted and welcomed and invited to browse and ask questions. So many boutiques and shops treat you like you are a bother — there are just too many choices these days. This kind of browsing and shopping is as much about the experience as it is the treasures you choose to take home that will forever remind you of the moment, the visit, the people you met… whatever it is. Stories sell. It’s important and you will find it at Motto! Thank you MK and Motto. I will be back!”

“This is my first time ever writing a review for something online, and this place certainly deserves it.
I bought an embroidery machine from Facebook Marketplace, and brought it here to get serviced because there was an issue with one of the sensors.
Mark was very kind and welcoming, and assured me that Richard would get the machine in top shape in around 7-10 days.
Not only did Richard get the machine cleaned and running smoothly in just 6 days, but he also offered tips on how to embroider shirts as a beginner, and said that I can come back whenever for more advice.
I will certainly be returning and highly encourage others to check this place out!”

“Custom Floor Design was terrific from start to finish. I found them online and did not have high expectations going there. I was wrong. The showroom was bright and very professional. And they had beautiful high end products. Our consultant, Kathy, was knowledgeable and very patient. She spent a long time with us as we were looking for an area rug. We could not decide that day, but went back and Kathy again showed us more. We purchased one outside our comfort zone because of Kathy. She was wonderful. Shipping and install was a dream. I cannot say enough about this company. A+!!”

“I visited recently to find replacements for my under-cabinet kitchen lighting. I worked with Rita, she showed me the available options, how they could be used and optimized for my space. After looking at the options, Rita priced out a solution for me that was reasonably priced. They had most of the units in-stock, I returned a few days later for the rest.
I do not feel like I was over-sold, I got what I needed at a good price and now that they are installed I am completely happy with what I have.
Rita was great to work with, pleasant, relaxed, and responsive to my questions.
I could not have asked for a better experience, the results speak for themselves, and will certainly start here whenever I have other lighting needs.”

I would have gave the store 5 stars but they do not have a separate customer service line for returns and questions, you will have to wait on a long line that wraps around twice to get to the register after already waiting on the same very long line to make the purchase.. I'm returning my item because it did not come with all the items that was to be included in the box so I have to suffer on this long line once again.”

“Derek replaced the plexiglass on one of my roomate’s Japanese frog painting after I clumsily cracked it while working out in my apartment. He stapled the new plexiglass to the frame in a way that made it more stable than before and even sealed some of the flaws in the frame to give it a smoother/more clean appearance. He got the piece back to me in less than a week and packaged it securely so it wouldn’t get damaged on the ride home. I will definitely be coming back to this location if I have any more picture frame related needs or (in this case) woes, and you should do the same!”
