“We stopped at Concord Lamp & Shade with some lamps we found and little knowledge about lamps/buying shades. We got an education and beautiful shades that we are thrilled with! For a relatively small shop they had so many options and we found exactly what we wanted. We were able to take them home for a day and see if they worked in the space before purchasing them, which worked very well for us. Such a great experience!”
“What a find! The Crafty Yankee is one of those great little shops where you want to take everything home. It's just full of perfectly picked items that make you think, 'Yep, that would look great in my house.' It's officially my new go-to for gifts, and the fact that they'll gift wrap for you is a huge plus. “Jim was great!I called to get dimensions for drawers for the Millstone Island.(The drawer dimensions are not listed on the website. Overall dimensions are listed, but not individual drawer dimensions.)I tried the Live Chat, which did not have the info and they directed me to try the customer service email and the customer service 1-800 number. The 1-800 number did not have the info, but they checked inventory to see which store had the item in stock so I could call and ask a salesperson to measure. Then the 1-800 rep transferred me to the Natick Store.Jim answered the phone and took the time to measure the three types of drawers on the item and also how far the drawers pulled out. This information is incredibly crucial to me since I do not have a lot of space in the intended room and i'm trying to maximize every inch.Jim sounded like he was having a super busy morning, but he was polite and speedy and I very much appreciate his attention!”
“I visited recently to find replacements for my under-cabinet kitchen lighting. I worked with Rita, she showed me the available options, how they could be used and optimized for my space. After looking at the options, Rita priced out a solution for me that was reasonably priced. They had most of the units in-stock, I returned a few days later for the rest.
I do not feel like I was over-sold, I got what I needed at a good price and now that they are installed I am completely happy with what I have.
Rita was great to work with, pleasant, relaxed, and responsive to my questions.

“Bellow there is a review about us not wanting to cut pieces of fabric and then having to call the police. I am the girl that was there. They wanted to have 5 different fabrics 20 yards each cut into 1 yard pieces. That would be 100 pieces to be cut. I also had a line of 5 people behind them. I ended up cutting some and then they kept asking after I said no. They started becoming irrate and yelling so I took the next customer. While I was cutting for that customer she comes behind the counter picks up the fabric she wanted and threw the fabric on the counter in front of me twice. A customer was the one to call 911. She starting yelling in my managers face. Causing another customer to start yelling at her saying thats no way to treat people. Then when the police showed up they then started screaming at the police which is why if they show up they are trespassing. Also I work with with Asian people and I get many customers who speak in broken English from many different cultures I do not care about that but I do care about being treated like a human.”
