“The pre-made Italian sub is one of the best around. Great bread, coldcuts and dressing. If I had one suggestion,I would suggest iceberg lettuce (for the crunch) instead of leaf lettuce would make these subs a 10.”
“First time there. The few items I got were of good quality and products were true to the taste of the items intent. Such as refrigerated lemonade for $1.89 tasted like real lemonade, coffee purchased, Barrissimo Colombia, of good taste and quality. Overall fine experience.”
“I called during the week for a specific cut of meat that I could pick up for Saturday. Didn’t place an order just asked a couple of questions. I went to Lloyd’s Saturday morning and I inquired if they had what I was looking for. It was actually wrapped up and waiting for me.
I was shocked! What if I didn’t show up. Customer service extraordinary. I will go back there again just for that!

“I understand they're very busy in the morning. I got everything I wanted out of the store today including their yummy almond croissants because the French bakery didn't have anymore. I was waiting for my sandwich. They finished my sandwich wrapped it the girl put it by the cash register asked me what I was waiting for I told her the sandwich you put on the counter then she went and put subs on the shelf sat down and proceeded to eat her food while I waited for mine to be given to me”
“I shop here often and love the prices and products. I can usually find what I need and at a great price. I would like to give a pat on the back to Blaine. Everytime I go in the store and he is there he is always friendly and helpful, even if he is busy stocking shelves. We are quick to complain about associates that are not very good at customer service but I think we need to point out the ones that are very good at that. I hope management realizes they have a good employee.”
“A random find while visiting Woods Hole, a really nice local general store to get all your essentials, snacks, fill your tank, etc. The general store has local art, books, produce, wine, beer, Maine Pie Co's gluten-free pies, and so much more. The owner is a gem and a wonderful person to meet.
The store used to be The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, better known as A&P (A&P was an American chain of grocery stores that operated from 1859 to 2015.).”

“Such a good, decent, hardworking young husband and wife run this store that it is almost unbelievable. Especially in this day and age. Could not be kinder and know us customers and treat us like family. The whole town loves them! And they have one stop shopping for everything too!”
“I've been living within walking distance to OVM for the past 20'ish years. At the time of writing this, I'm 25. They used to be under a different ownership who owned another convenient in Rochester. Okay lol, onto the review. They remodeled back a few years ago. The cashier used to at an island in the middle of the store. It's now on the side. Not really a problem. So, they used to have more food!! They had a deli! With fresh made to order sandwiches. Now it's mostly just frozen foods I can get at the local stop & shop a few miles from Onset. I like how close it is to my parents house. 30 second'ish walk from the crib!!!!!! Now they have a lot more alcohol which if you're an alcoholic like my mom and I, it's great but once again, I miss the food. If you're visiting Onset, definitely check it out but you might be disappointed.”
“Fun little stop and go store they have a little of everything imaginable. Get anything you need from this little store. Clerk was really nice when we went spoke with him a bit. One thing I would say is we bought a bag of chips and they had just expired.”
“Wild Harbor General Store's gas station ⛽. Falmouth's independently managed gas station. Friendly and helpful staff. The main general store is quite a quaint one with local community art, produce, and a piece of history. Great stop over after visiting Woods Hole (Ferry/Stores) if you're into something local with a history.”

“I don't usually write reviews unless things go very bad or extremely well. I have shopped at this store for about 2 decades, and have always been relatively happy with the service, selection & cleanliness. This review, however, is specifically aimed at one very special employee named Brenda. In a world where good customer service and just nice people are becoming increasingly scarce, Brenda has gone above and beyond during several interactions with her at both the register and service desk. Brenda is the type of person that make a real positive difference in this world by caring about how well she does her job, but also just by caring about people. Thank you to you Brenda, and I hope that your employers appreciate you as much as I do!”
“Always very helpful (can point you to the most random items) and always always friendly!
Pros: they stock so many random things that save a 20 min drive to Market Basket. Need flaxseed meal, specific cat food flavor, truffle mayo, you name it, they prob have it. Also they stock the best selection of vegan items like beyond meats, dairy free ice cream, oat milk, and sometimes cheese. In the warmer months they have home cooked Indian meals on Saturdays. The samosas are awesome. Prices are a premium for being local, buuut cheaper than nearby competitors (gables & deans).
Cons: the store is a bit dated and one of those things that after being cleaned, still don’t look sparkling, and you need to check produce is ok before purchasing.
Overall: the pros definitely outweigh the cons to make this the almost perfect little store! The convenience of having this place instead of a big drive to a supermarket is helpful. Support your local business so they stick around!”
“Rarely buy flowers at stop n shop but the times I have I've had no complaints and the same goes for my most recent purchase. I got this cool snow globe that has a large real rose in it that preserves it and from what I've been told can last 6 months with some people having there up to a year with no issue. Roses are the type of flower that's beautiful but die in a week to 10 days so this will last for a long time and still looks nice. The staff was very friendly and informative and gave me a few good laughs.”
“Been here about 5 times . Each time cashiers have been friendly and customers are too ! Easy to find everything. No overstock everywhere . Aisles are clean 🫧 and the whole place smells like chocolate chip cookies ! Also the meat has never made me sick like Walmart or Market Basket. Most of produce is in good shape ! Buggy are easy to find and are clean . Hopefully they keep the amazing job ! Also lighting is not harsh and music is subtle not blasting 🥰”
