“I've been to Orchard a few times now, and I've loved it every time. My boyfriend is more into skateboarding than me, but they've always treated me with kindness regardless. The shop is clean, has a great selection, and everyone who works there knows their stuff. I actually just ordered a pair of Converse CONS Fastbreak Pros and they shipped almost immediately and got to me in record time! They arrived in pretty much perfect condition, not even a dent in the box. Definitely will buy from here again next time I need a pair of kicks!”

I've been an Allbirds customer for half a decade now, and interactions like the one I had with them are the reason why. There was a particular shoe in a particular color that I was really set on that was sold out just about everywhere, but they got on the phone for me and secured just the pair that I wanted. I had also shared that I was having a bit of a rough day, and that inspired each of them to work a little harder on my behalf (and one of them was at the very end of her shift, no less). Their work brightened what had been a very difficult day for me up to that point, and they both deserve a raise!”

“I come here quite often & I can't get over how friendly the staff here are. They go out of their way to welcome & greet every single customer that walks through that door with a smile. There's a manager named Emily who I absolutely adore. She remembers who you are & will stop whatever she's doing to welcome you with open arms & a smile. She's so personable with everyone & sad to say, that's rare in today's retail world. What an overall amazing personality she has & Converse is so lucky to have her. Another thing i appreciate is the fact they ask if you need any help finding something & when you say you're just browsing they give you your space to shop in peace, reminding you they'll be right there if you have any questions &/or need anything. I have yet to encounter an unfriendly employee yet. They treat you like a member of the family here so there's never an awkward moment. Another thing I appreciate is the fact this store is always so clean & organized. The selections are a little too good cause I've got a collection of Chuck 70's like no other! I very rarely leave here empty handed! ? LOVE THIS PLACE!”

“Wow the store is impressive! Their new location just down the street from their previous location at 117 First St. Cambridge, MA. Amazing selection of quality shoes for men and women, which is hard to find these days. I bought these super comfortable Samuel Hubbard shoes recommended by the owner. I have bad knees and wanted a stylish comfortable shoe that could be worn for any occasion. These are perfect. Bob is knowledgeable, attentive, honest and patient. Prices are awesome too - better than internet prices. This place is a rare find! I will be back to pick out work boots. ”

“Well, you can count on Lesley to steer your gift shopping. Being male and having to buy gifts for a large number of female relatives is not easy. I trust Saks, EB Horn and George's. Their shoppers and selections always save me before birthdays then holidays. Lesley will put together a bag and scarf combo that's perfect. Or summer sandals that say party on the beach. She and her family buy out leftovers from some great stores and if you pay over $100 for any one of their designer finds I'd be shocked. I just bought three winter coats for nieces and two from some hi end German designer I never would've heard of. Or afforded. Going back to ship her night hours for something nice for daughter and mom. Sometimes I just give her dollar amount, number of gals and sizes and voila, shopping done. Can I praise this shop anymore?”

I am particularly drawn to their extensive collection of Italian makers and brands. When you shop at Louie you get a hands on, personal approach to looking your best.On their Cobbler side of the business, they have resoled many, many pairs of dress shoes, boots, and loafers for me over the years. I have tried many cobbler services over the years- I am certain there is no better Cobbler and shoe repairer than Larossa Shoe.”

Each time I went to Milton’s for those weddings, the experience was always positive. So, when it came time for suits for my wedding, I went with Milton’s.Over the course of a year planning for my wedding, I had the pleasure of working with Mark Sarkis. I needed suits for 16 different people and Mark handled it beautifully. He was very accommodating, friendly, and patient with all of us. There were no issues.Everyone was able to get fitted on their own time without pushback. Out of town guests were allowed to submit their measurements and pick up their suit later! Plus, we got our alterations with time to spare. It was truly an stress-free experience!Mark even helped me pick a tie for my suit and I couldn’t be happier with the choice! Lastly, the suits were affordable and Mark helped me get a great deal on them!! Highly recommend Milton’s for all you future grooms out there…ask for Mark!”

“Reliable and affordable spot for cute clothes for little ones. The quality is very nice and holds up well enough to be passed down to younger friends or siblings if they've got 'em. I wish there were fewer super-gendered graphic designs, but as things are, everything is brightly colored and appealing and my son loves it (and every once in a while, one of those graphic items will be so adorable that it's heartbreaking to give it up when your kid grows out of it). Even if nothing here otherwise appeals to you, the fleece drawstring pants are the best and warmest thing your kiddo can wear in the winter, and are always worth stocking up on. A lot of other baby clothes shops at a lower price point than this do not have clothes with as nice of a fabric or as sturdy of a seaming as Carter's, and Carter's is not expensive in the first place. So anyway - solid shop, nice and patient customer service, non-annoying traffic nearby. Kind of a no-brainer if you have little ones or are shopping for someone else's.”

“I had a really positive experience shopping at this location for sneakers. I was helped by Bella. I didn't feel any pressure to buy something or rushed (which I experience at other Marathon Sports locations). Bella was really supportive and easy going. The environment wasn't hectic or distracting (like other locations). I'm really happy with the Saucony sneakers I bought, and I tried on a couple other pairs for the first time that I'm now interested in. I have been to multiple Marathon Sports locations (Wellesley, Lexington, Boston), and Cambridge is not the most convenient for me, but I will definitely return to the Cambridge location in the future when I want to try on sneakers in store. I'm glad I made the trip.”
