“I bought a pair of Italian leather boots in Vienna as a souvenir. I wore them out, sadly. I absolutely LOVED these boots and LaRossa Shoe repair made them like new with new soles and heels! I was so pleased that I just brought in my favorite black pumps that my puppy decided to chow-down on….I cried!! I am a size 5 shoe and I rarely find shoes that fit me as terrifically as these do. LaRossa will repair them!!! I cannot say enough about this shoe and repair store! Love them and love the quality work that they are capable of doing!!! “Friendly workers. Running shoes, clothing, and gear are all high quality.I give 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons. Mainly, there is no info on the shoes on the wall display. The Boston and Brookline locations list things like the model, stack height, and drop right next to the shoe. Cambridge really needs to do this.Secondly, the 3 shoes initially brought out didn’t match my foot scan at all. It was odd. But I did find a pair of Nikes I liked and was able to order them from Nike directly in the width I need. Note that width options are limited in most running stores. So I don’t fault Marathon sports for not carrying the wide.”

He doesn't rush you and he makes sure the shoe you pick is the right size for you. There aren't many shops like this anymore. Its a pleasure to shop there”

“I recently bought boots that didn’t fit quite right. I had used them for a couple days hoping they would break in but they didn’t. I was really stressing about what I could do at this point. I went back to the store hoping for some help but wasn’t expecting they could do much for me. The staff was wonderful and very understanding, they provided new boots for me that fit awesome!! “I have purchased several pairs of shoes from this store. Recently I became smitten with the Nansen, which offers a unique style and vibe sporting a slightly squared off toe box. My challenge was that I was close to an 11, but felt a little cramped. Justin was very accommodating and sent a size 12 with inserts, but my feet sloshed around in them. Then Justin came up with Plan C. He modified a Size 11, by stretching them out where I needed it. This final sale transaction was just what I needed to get a perfect fit. He also advised me on shoe polishing maintenance to keep me looking stylish. Justin a true gem, ever so thoughtful and resourceful. Thank you for working with me to overcome my impediments Justin.”
