Pet Grooming

The Shaggy Dog Holistic Grooming LLC
189 Main St, MaynardCasey and Mollly are the absolute best! I have worked with various groomers over the years--first with my cavalier king charles spaniel, and now with a shih tzu, Louie. They are 100% dog centered. They have created an environment where my pups feel safe. And the grooming work is superior.

Wags To Whiskers
187 Main St, MaynardThe ladies at Wags to Whiskers have been grooming my two Westies (Romeo & Bentley) for going on over 10 years. They always do a wonderful job. The dogs go in looking ratty and come out like they belong on the cover of GQ Magazine for Dogs. I highly recommend their services!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Theatre Creamery
17 Summer St, MaynardThe staff is so friendly and the ice cream is great. There is no shortage of ice cream stands in Massachusetts but there aren’t a ton that let you enjoy it indoors on a rainy day. I recommend the root beer float!

Amory's Tomb Brewing Co.
58A Main St, MaynardI stopped by Amory's Tomb Brewing Co. On a sunny Saturday afternoon to check out their outdoor beer garden. The moment I arrived, a staff member greeted me with a warm smile and offered to help me navigate the beer selection. I appreciated that they took the time to explain the different brews, especially highlighting the seasonal offerings. I decided to try their Kettle Hole Rustic Pale Ale and was pleased with the balanced flavor. While enjoying my drink at one of the picnic tables, I noticed how attentive the staff was, checking in regularly without being overbearing. The atmosphere felt relaxed, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. It was nice to see that they have plans for indoor renovations, which should enhance the experience when it's done. Overall, it was a solid visit, and I'd be curious to come back for more tastings once they're fully set up inside.

The Bagel Table
1 Nason St, MaynardI stopped into Bagel Table and tried the Tabl sandwich, and it was honestly such a pleasant surprise. The amount of turkey was just right, hearty without feeling heavy—and the lettuce was crisp and fresh, giving every bite that perfect crunch.
The bacon pieces added an elevated, smoky flavor, and the guacamole was incredibly tasty, creamy, and full of flavor. I’ll definitely order this sandwich again!
The coffee, however, didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It tasted watered down and wasn’t easy to enjoy, but we did arrive close to closing time (around 1:30 PM for their 2 PM close), so that may have played a part.
The service was genuinely great, friendly, quick, and attentive. The space itself has a clean, sunny, warm feel that makes you want to sit for a moment and relax.
I absolutely recommend the sandwiches here!
