“I recently purchased a 2026 Defender from Land Rover Peabody, and my experience working with Eric McNerney was truly exceptional from start to finish.
From our very first interaction — before I ever set foot in the dealership — Eric went above and beyond. He sent me videos of the car and even took the time to record measurements of the trunk space to answer my questions. He never made me feel rushed or like I was bothering him, and his genuine desire to help me find the right fit (rather than just close a sale) was evident throughout.
When I arrived in person, the experience was exactly the same: warm, patient, and thoughtful. Without me even having to ask, Eric suggested pulling the Defender up next to my current car so I could compare them side by side. He gave me all the time I needed to make my decision — no pressure, no rush.
I ended up purchasing the 2026 Defender, and even afterward when I had some second thoughts and reached out feeling embarrassed, Eric was incredibly kind and understanding. He continues to help me find the right fit, and his patience and professionalism have never wavered.

“These guys are so kind and helpful! I pulled in there because I had an issue with my car where the sunroof glass randomly exploded into pieces due to a manufacturing defect. I pulled into their shop simply asking if I could leave my car in their parking lot, because me and my wife were on the way to an NHL game at TD garden and we now needed to take an Uber bc my car wasn't safe to drive. They not only allowed me to leave my car in their parking lot until later that night, the owner also offered to cover the broken window with crash wrap for no charge! “My former garage, Essex County Auto,charged over $2400 to repair an unusual sound from the engine. But they didn't fix the sound; they only did front-end suspension work. I am certain, based on previous visits with inspection and pictures, the work DID actually need to be done. But the problem I took it in for remained, and they didn't apologize OR stand behind their claim that it had been fixed. They just wanted me to come back and pay more to fix the original issue, which they failed to properly diagnose (they charge $200 to diagnose your car, btw). I declined. My second stop was at Bay State Muffler, where the techs agreed there was an issue, but assured me it was not related to the exhaust system. No charge! I thanked them, left some $ for their tip jar (they use it to buy the crew pizza) and then called Rte 1 Auto. Chris got me in within a few days, everyone was friendly and polite, and they found/repaired the issue. They even waived some labor charges, since they needed to remove the part in question as part of their diagnostic process. So for a change, I paid less for labor than for parts. Great job, Steve, and my sincere thanks. Bye-bye, Essex County Auto - I will not miss your gouge-pricing!!”

“If your car is in an accident, I recommend taking it straight to Olympic. They were highly recommend to me by a neighbor, and I can see why. Our car was towed to them and they were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They were able to book me a rental car through my insurance, provided insight into the insurance process for the appraisal, and continued to keep us updated throughout.
