“Great shop and great guys working there. I woke up this morning with a flat tire. Drove to another tire shop that opened at 7:30 and was the first person in the door. They said they couldn't look at it until 1 pm. At the time I was assuming this was a simple plug, a 15 minute job. I couldn't wait so I drove down the street to Certified. I arrived 20 minutes before they open but the gentleman at the front counter said he'd throw it on a lift and a tech could have a look at 8 when they got in. They discovered it was a loose valve core. They never even had to take the tire off. Tightened it up for me and I was out the door before 8:30. When I went to pay they told me to keep my money since it was such a simple repair. Their tech even brought me into the shop to show me what was going on. Great shop I will definitely return to. Go here with confidence, good people doing good business.”

“I needed new tires for my personal vehicle and scheduled to have my Wife bring the car by. There was a mix up on my end about how long the tire replacement and rotation would take. My Wife was a little distraught because she had our 9 month old Son with her. Castle Tire quickly mobilized a couple of their employees to handle our job and had my Wife and Son back on the road in an hour. I've been going to Castle Tire for years now and have always been very satisfied with the quality of their work, the timely manner they complete this work in, as well as their pricing. I fully recommend the team at Castle Tire!”

“Corey was awesome. Handled mounting / balancing of some new tires and wheels for my GT4. He really knows his stuff and is super meticulous; my wheels have extremely limited clearance between the caliper and he was able to work his magic with the weight placement to ensure everything cleared. 10 out of 5 stars, definitely reach out to Corey for anything you need. The convenience of him coming to you is just the cherry on top!”

“We’ve been taking our cars to Alewife Automotive for almost 10 years, and I’m consistently impressed with their service and kindness. We’ve had everything done from inspections to tires to repairs. They are transparent and fair, and they never tack on surprise charges. A perfect example of this was I had taken a new car to get inspected with plates to a shop closer to our home, and not only were they kind of rude to me, but they wanted to charge me $20 to put plates on. I called George at Alewife and he said to come on over, they’ll take care of it all no charge. And this is something I’m used to with them—no charges to change out a bulb, top off fluids, etc. As a woman I’ve found that the stereotype is usually true with many shops, trying to get me to buy something I don’t need or up-charge me for something I wasn’t prepared for. It’s worth the slightly longer drive to get here for their service, I don’t know why I ever try to go anywhere else!”

“Took my Corvette to Herb Chambers 3 times for the engine misfiring..After the 3rd visit they told me it was the transmission and to take it to a transmission mechanic in Wakefield. Within 1 hr the transmission place told me it was fine. Took it to essex County auto repair. They did a tune up in one day. Car runs like new and they did it at a excellent price. The dealership should be embarrassed, they couldn't fix the car. They had it for 3 weeks.. can't say enough about essex, thank u for fixing my car.”

86 River Street, Arlington MA 02474
“Really great experience with the mechanic here, Brandon. Unlike my many other experiences with mechanics over the years, Brandon takes his time to explain what needs to be done and why. He also emphasizes the choice behind repair decisions, taking away the worry of being convinced into doing something expensive and unnecessary, which is always my fear with my little car knowledge. Would definitely recommend.”

149 Ferry St, Malden MA 02148
“I was going to another mechanic down the street for many years and recently had been having some pretty major issues with my car. My daughter recommended that I get a second opinion from Paul’s and I’m really glad I did because they had to correct the work my old guy did and the prices were much more reasonable. My car drove like new today. The people at the front desk are also super friendly and professional.”
