“Love the East Milton Post office! I got to add a huge shout out to Mike and Joe on route 5. These guys deliver my mail, packages, and pick up my packages. They always go above and beyond service. They are exceptional and they are a true asset to the US Postal service.”
“I came in with some questions most adults should know. I walked in anxious as always, but then was happily greeted by Alisha who put me right at ease with the bubbly professional vibe. She allowed me to ask questions, get answers and also gave me some helpful tips!! Alisha made it so I didn’t cry in the car after that interaction. You ever get so stressed you just shed 5 tears in the car and then scream sing some Adele for a verse or two? That’s happened to me at the Dedham location 8 years ago. Anyways, thank you for having Alisha there when I needed help from my local US Post Office hero.

“I have lived in Sharon since 2000. I have also worked multiple types of jobs in Sharon. Currently working in the schools and elected as library trustee. I often go to the post office. I am always happy to do business with Amelia and John. They are 2 amazing workers. Have a welcoming smile and quickly help me with all my postal needs and yes there are often many types. Never get annoyed with all the different requests I make and always happy to assist me in any way. Going above and beyond for me and every other patron I see while in the post office. Small post office, but huge in service.
I wanted a small post office box. There were 2 available to choose from.
The 2nd option was close to my birth date. The clerk inquired if my birth date was available, it looked unused. The postmaster was consulted and I was told to return, if I could wait, for proper clearance protocol.
Well, I was called within 1 - 2 hours by a site clerk to let me know I could return today to get my birth date box. 🌄
I was made to feel very special. 😊

“I needed to send some books media rate, but I haven’t sent packages through USPS in a while and was unfamiliar and unsure about the process. The woman behind the counter was incredibly patient and helped me out in correctly addressing my package and finding a way to print my pre-paid label (FYI, no printer here but if you have a QR code from Click-N-Ship they can scan it and print the label themselves). They were also managing the line efficiently on a Friday afternoon close to closing and kept everything moving. All the packages I sent arrived in one piece. This is hands down the best experience I have ever had at any USPS location.
Editing to add: I came again to mail another package, and the same fantastic person helped me find the most affordable shipping option and was patient while I figured out my shipping address. I had tried to mail this same thing at FedEx the day before but couldn’t because I didn’t have my ID on me— so glad, because this was $5 cheaper for a faster and more convenient experience. I love this post office.”

“Kind of strange to be writing a review for the post office, but after reading the bad reviews for the Dedham post office, I went ahead and made my way to the Westwood post office.
I thought the woman behind the counter was extremely patient as I tried to figure out the best way to send my three different tax-related documents -– some that needed certified with return receipt, others that did not. Apparently the type of envelope that you buy can determine the way it’s mailed, and some envelopes end up costing more than others because of that.
In the end, I was able to get everything mailed, get the return receipts I needed, and she never made me feel rushed or stupid. It was also five minutes before closing time, so I give her a lot of kudos for that too.”
“My family and I went in to get passports because the office in West Roxbury has to cancel our appointment last minute. There was only one woman at the desk and she was the most helpful and kind human being. She took care of everyone’s needs that walked into that office. I wish I could remember her name, I believe it started with an R. Great customer service. It was my first time there and I would go there over the West Roxbury service any day!”

“I recently visited the United States Postal Service and had a great experience overall.
One of the tellers really stood out. He was incredibly thoughtful with his suggestions and took the time to walk me through every option step by step. Even though I ultimately decided not to ship through USPS because the available options were a bit out of my budget, I truly appreciated how clearly everything was explained. I left fully understanding what I would have been paying for, which says a lot about the level of service.”

“I can’t say enough about the professional service we received today. We came in after the Milton office was unable to process our passport application because their “camera wasn’t working”. Although we didn’t have an appointment, the employee at the front desk kindly spoke with the passport agent, Shakeil, who was happy to help us.
Shakeil carefully reviewed all of the documents for our newborn, took the passport photo, and made sure everything was in order. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and professional from start to finish. We truly appreciated the team’s willingness to accommodate us and their exceptional customer service. “The US Post Office in West Roxbury provides solid, reliable service and the staff is generally helpful and efficient. I would have given it 5 stars, but the parking situation makes it a bit inconvenient. It’s street parking only, and I had to park a couple of blocks away. Aside from that challenge, the post office itself does a good job and is dependable overall.”
