“It may have been my first bike shop repair visit ever! BUT they nailed it!!!! Taking out a 2 inch nail and swapping my rear e-bike tire inner tube Quickly and professionally. It was a great first time experience and can’t wait to head back!!!!!!! Call first to make sure they can maintenance your bike!!!”
“Friendly workers. Running shoes, clothing, and gear are all high quality.I give 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons. Mainly, there is no info on the shoes on the wall display. The Boston and Brookline locations list things like the model, stack height, and drop right next to the shoe. Cambridge really needs to do this.Secondly, the 3 shoes initially brought out didn’t match my foot scan at all. It was odd. But I did find a pair of Nikes I liked and was able to order them from Nike directly in the width I need. Note that width options are limited in most running stores. So I don’t fault Marathon sports for not carrying the wide.”

“While they didn't have what I was looking for (replacement gunwales for an old Mad River Canoe), Marc very promptly answered all my questions, gave me a bunch of good advice and redirected me to other shops in the area that might have what I needed. This was over several emails where it would have been very easy for him to just ignore me.
Once I get this canoe repaired, I'll be happily shopping here for any accessories that I need.”

“This store is really worth five stars, the only reason I gave it four stars is it’s just a bit expensive for me, but if you need anything hiking snowboarding, outdoor clothes, jackets, pants, hats, backpacks really nice stuff they have it all they really do they have basically want Marshalls and TJ Maxx has plus a bunch of other stuff. I’m gonna keep this short. I would recommend this place to anybody!”
“This place is great! Perfect for all ages! There’s at least 15 Lanes, I don’t know exactly, I just left for the first time. I’d recommend it to anyone! Weather your age 5-15ish they have slow speed pitching machines, also baseball pitching machines that probably go at least 80-85mph. BOOK AHEAD OF TIME! You’ll be way better off booking early because it does fill up on weekends, today I went with my niece, and I booked 1 hour. It’s $50 for 1 hour. Go and have a blast!”
“Chad from was absolutely a star. I brought my daughter’s broken lacrosse stick and from start to finish he gave me the most utmost professional and prompt attention. He ordered a new head from Maryland, which was delivered quickly, restrung it, and followed up with a call to let me know it was ready! And to top it off, he had it FedEx directly to my daughter at college!! this was such a huge help as she’s in midseason and in dire need for her own stick

“I used to visit the store frequently when one of my daughters played ice hockey. She doesn’t play anymore. But since I have been visiting the store for softball gear for my other daughter, I have been super impressed!! Gary M has been soooo helpful on the softball side, it is unbelievable. He has taken the time to talk to us about the correct bat for my daughter’s style of hitting and she has been super happy with the recommendation. Gary helped us to find the perfect fielders glove and the care and finesse he took with re-lacing and breaking it in for her, I would have thought it was his own glove. He treats every customer the way they should be treated. Does he own the store? As long as Gary is at the store, we will continue to come back!!”

My daughter recent got a new pair of edea ice fly skates and a new pair of Gold seal John Wilson Revolution blades at another location and needed her blade mount adjusted.
