“It seemed unlikely to me that this place could be as good as all the reviews say, but it really is. I brought in a clock and a watch that weren't running. Chris was incredibly knowledgeable and honest about what he could do to try to fix the clock, what parts he would need, and how much it was likely to cost. He was also very forthright in saying that if it were his clock, he probably wouldn't bother. He took some links out of my watch for a very reasonable price, and he let me know that it didn't need a new battery; it just needs to be worn in order to self-wind. (I did--and do--feel like a bit of an idiot, but that's obviously on me, not him.) I saw Chris and Christine helping other customers in an equally honest and helpful manner. Three thumbs up for Watertown Watch & Clock Repair!”

The ring's intricately designed, so I was initially hesitant to do any work on it because I didn't want it to change the look.I was blown away by the quality, care and craftsmanship that went into this job. “We have been customers of this local establishment for nearly two decades. Nearly all of our requests have been to replace batteries in watches. Never has there been a problem, which some reviewers seem to have experienced.One fine mechanical watch, a Breguet, was brought to Mark and Nina after the person who sold it to us "pre-owned" could not repair it after two attempts and nearly $1000 in charges. Mark correctly assessed that such a watch should be shipped to the factory in Switzerland for proper repair. That was handled expertly by them and relatively promptly, considering the backlog at the factory, and the charges, while more than $1000, were quite reasonable. The watch has functioned perfectly since that time. The most demanding request was for Mark and Nina to tackle our nearly 50 year old Atmos clock. Repairing these amazing devices, which are the closest thing to a perpetual motion machine, is not for the faint hearted, but Mark is an expert. Indeed, his repair was faultless the first time and it has stayed so for quite a long period. Again, the charge to repair it was far less than that quoted at the Longines service facility in Texas. Mark often has a number of used Atmos clocks for sale, so it's quite obvious that he has extensive experience with their delicate mechanisms. In summary, I am sorry there are reviews posting negative experiences by others over the years. I felt it only fair to indicate that Nina and Mark, in our opinion, are completely honest and very fair in what they charge for their work. We truly appreciate such fine service!”

“I’m highly satisfied with my experience at Village Watch Center. I interacted with the owner, Avi, and Justin, who is a sales associate. I brought my Lassale in to be serviced and it came out great. While looking at the collection of watches, a Rolex with a blue dial caught my eye. I returned to shop for Valentines Day and purchased a beautiful 14K YG diamond cross necklace for my girlfriend that she loves. I also brought her in to remove some links from a new Longines purchased online. I included pictures of the aforementioned items along with some of the other watch offerings at the store. Avi is very helpful, knowledgeable, and communicative. Highly recommend and great experience!”
