I had been visiting many churches and trying many spiritual paths for several years. The very first day I went to the Newburyport church I felt pure love and joy bursting forth! I felt a loving embrace and a sense of being at home. Christian Science teaches that "God is Love" and that everyone is a child of Love. It teaches one to be a spiritual thinker and to strive to practice Jesus' teachings. I later married and raised three children in the Sunday School until our family moved to the West coast when the children were still young. I will always have sweet memories of my time at the Newburyport Church.”
