I just went in for a tux fitting today, and it was such a great experience. Patty was the one to help me with my sizing and was very kind throughout the whole process. With tux rentals, most stores give you an off-the-rack fit. However, Patty was so thoughtful about how she procured my look and gave me the look I wanted for the wedding. The whole staff was so friendly and helpful, and I’d highly recommend Simon and Sons to any other grooms/groomsmen looking for a great fit!”

He dreamt up and created a striking, transitional wedding outfit of a bustier, straight skirt, gloves, veil, and detachable overskirt for my ceremony/cocktail hour and then slim pants for the reception/after party. He also deconstructed my Mother’s wedding dress and then reimagined it as a modern and sentimental rehearsal dinner dress and cape for me to wear the night before the wedding. They even went to bat with "corporate" CustomInk when the printers sent me an email saying that there would be a delay-- and suddenly the delay didn't happen after all! I thought that it would be an added step to go into the store to place the order, rather than doing it online-- but it truly made every single part of the process easier and smoother. “I walked into Ministry of Supply having never heard about it before—When I walked out, I'm a customer for life.Their clothes fit like they were tailored to me, and being 5' 6" with broad shoulders but a narrow waist isn't always easy to fit just right. The fabric and colors were perfect, the durability feels great. Extremely satisfied with the merchandise.Their customer service is exceptional—if I got the names of the guys working there I'd give them shoutouts. They made me feel human after a long season of setbacks. Walking out of there, I wanted to bottle up the experience of that interaction to relive over and over again. Most companies preach customer service but this was the first time in a long time I've seen people living it in their workday. Thank you guys x1000. I'm already looking forward to the next trip there.”
“I started shopping here in '88. Those were my Vintage days. Then grunge and finally goth. They had EVERYTHING.I was so young / 19 - 20. I usually went to Oona's during my vintage days. It was costly as a teen though. Garment District was one of the only places I would shop 'cause they always had the correct clothing for my alternative -- grunge--goth days as well as appropriate items for work. That was so many decades ago. I miss it. It's huge & they had anything I wanted. iNo need to go to NYC!”

“If I were able to make it more often than I do, I'd rate it 5 stars.
I joined about 10 months ago and have been something like 4 times and a not sure if I'll be able to make it a fifth time. That's partly on me (I live/work about a 30 min drive away or longer if I'm trying to make it during rush hour/right after work), but also: the hours aren't super friendly to nine-to-fivers. When I first joined I think maybe every week or every other week there would be a Thursday or Friday with a couple of hours when it was open in the evening (something like 5 to 7 or maybe 6 to 8?) and two weekend days (per month) with 2 to 4 hours of being open in the middle of the day - the bulk of the open hours being during business hours on weekdays. The open hours have varied with staff availability (understandable!), but for me it's been a lot harder to make it there than I anticipated when I joined.
If you can make it for their open hours more easily thanIve found myself able to (the weekend days kept clashing with other commitments I had, given the middle-of-the-day hours), I'd highly recommend joining, though.”
