They are transparent and fair, and they never tack on surprise charges. A perfect example of this was I had taken a new car to get inspected with plates to a shop closer to our home, and not only were they kind of rude to me, but they wanted to charge me $20 to put plates on. I called George at Alewife and he said to come on over, they’ll take care of it all no charge. And this is something I’m used to with them—no charges to change out a bulb, top off fluids, etc. As a woman I’ve found that the stereotype is usually true with many shops, trying to get me to buy something I don’t need or up-charge me for something I wasn’t prepared for. “I want to give high praise to Jamal Bridges, Tech specialist for Lexus. I called him from the road on the way to Washington DC for the holiday week as the navigation system was not functioning on my brand new car. He patiently and expertly instructed me how to reset system to get Google map functioning . I needed to call again for Tech Support as I couldn’t lock the car as I had packages on back seat that sent alerts. Once packages removed the doors still not locking. Jamal calmly reviewed numerous steps to try to get car locked.Manual locking worked. I met Jamal today at Lexus of Watertown to reboot the Connect Drive as malfunctioning, tested all keys to lock and remote start. He didn’t leave until all my questions and concerns were addressed.

“I had already done a great deal of research on the type of car and the price when I discovered a great match at Waltham Auto Gallery. I met Chris when I arrived to look at the car. Despite knowing I was very interested in the Kia Sorento on their lot, he was very friend and laid-back throughout the process, never applying any of the cliche high-pressure tactics one expects to encounter when buying a car.
We were able to reach an agreement quickly but I still needed to make up my mind on several minor part of our deal. Chris was very patient and cooperative as I made my decisions regarding those details and we drew up the final paperwork. From there they were able to take care of all the RMV paperwork and have me in my car within several days.

This is true enough that I make the hike from Wakefield to come here even though there are several other places closer. They are good about doing the requested service without coming back and trying to pad the bill with a thousand other 'recommended' things. I'm hoping my Tacoma lasts a long time - so I feel better having folks work on it that really know this vehicle. To that point, this dealership went above and beyond getting me qualified for, and completing the work on, the frame recall for my previous Tacoma.”

“Drove into Boston to see a show on a Saturday. My VW MK5 R32 which has DSG trannie and Haldex 4wd was almost there when I started losing drive near the exit. Short version, I made it to Kneeland St, got off and it died. No drive, either forward or back. You could see transmission fluid underneath. Not a good sign. Called AAA and got a flatbed up to VIP. Unfortunately, they were by now closed so I filled out the form and left the car and keys. Worst case was the DSG needed replacing and costing $3-5K. Got to the hotel, went for dinner/drinks and saw the show. Got an Uber back home. The next day I talked to Adam who worked on the car. No trannie fluid in the transmission and the filter/filter housing needed replacement in order to fill it with transmission fluid to see if there was further damage. Cost of about a grand to see if it needed to cost more. Sure, roll the dice. Two days later they called to say all was good after waiting to get the parts and the DSG fluid. Needless to say I believe they do great work and at a reasonable price. This is a complicated car to work on and their diagnosis was excellent. Drove it back this AM and it drives great. Thanks!”
