“Love this gym. Having trained bjj at a few different gyms, I can honestly say that this gym has been the best. Jason is very knowledgeable not just in bjj, but in other disciplines as well. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The pace of the instruction part of the classes are balanced and easy to follow (even with complex sequences). The rolls are competitive, yet slow enough to practice techniques. A true family atmosphere.”

“This is the 3rd Crossfit gym I have been a member at. What sets Crossfit Newton apart from the others, is the sense of community, combined with the knowledge and compassion from ownership. Over the six years that I have been a member, I reached goals, both at a skill and strength level, I never thought I could accomplish in my life. For this reason, I continue to set higher goals as I progress.Not only do I feel accomplished physically when leaving the gym, more importantly, my state of mind is in a better place then when I first arrived. Long way of saying, I highly recommend the gym! Member tip (if possible) - try having your first class with Gil. That is not saying there is anything wrong with the other coaches, as all coaches at the gym are great!”

“Joining Boston Underground Strength Training has been one of the best decisions I’ve made! I first joined during a really busy period of grad school where I was working long hours and had a constantly changing routine. It was so nice to know that no matter how busy I was, I would always be getting at least two workouts in each week!
