“I am so impressed by the customer service I experienced at this location. I am a vendor in the Chicago suburbs and had a customer claim she didn't receive her package a week and 2 days after it was delivered and was also asking for a refund. I called this location (as it was her local USPS) and the manager/post master (I assume) was so pleasant and kind. He looked up the GPS coordinates with the tracking number, which determined the package in question was DELIVERED to the correct location at the time of the scan. He even took the time out of his day to drive to the location for me and check to see if it was still in the package lockers which are locked (which it wasn't).If you are not a vendor that ships solely through USPS, you may not understand how REFRESHING it is to receive superb customer service like this...especially from hundreds of miles away. It helped me decide how to approach my customer in regards to a refund. Luckily, after I sent her an email that he had driven out there and could not locate the "missing package" and the GPS coordinates confirmed it was not mis-delivered, it miraculously appeared. How bout dat?Thank you! You are a kind, sweet soul and you deserve recognition for going above and beyond for me. So much appreciation for you!”

“I've used this location for years & got to know the counter people. No one knows the abuse they take from the public when you're not there. I'm always treated with respect, friendliness & expediency. I can make them smile with a funny phrase or a compliment out of the blue if thats what's needed when I don't see any smiles. Patrons take their bad days out on the people behind the counter. You prob'ly won't see that happen, but it happens alot. Dave keeps his smile in his pocket, but its there if you gave a compliment once in awhile, even if its a struggle to do so. Working the public is a thankless job, add the pandemic, short staffing, standing for 7 hours, combating personal problems, disgruntled patrons & morning smiles wane quickly. If you want a smile & friendly greeting, go meet the ice cream truck when you hear their tune. Try Initiating a smile or a kind word & don't expect anything. But you will have made a difference to someone who may need it...just like you do.”

“I had such a pleasant experience at this post office. Much like the DMV people that work at a post office are typically eager to get you in and out and easily frustrated. I went in to get my boyfriends passport and that is a tedious task as is but they made it so much easier and took their time with us even though some things we had were wrong they quickly fixed our issues with diligence and eagerness to help. both employees were great and patient I never write reviews but I felt the need to compliment this service. Me and my boyfriend were both amazed by their patience!”
