“This is the most wonderful little town store with more nostalgia than I thought possible. They have an amazing little candy section with a great assortment of single candies like the penny candy stores from days past, not a penny anymore but many 5-10 cent options . They even carry frozen dinner pies so if you don't feel like trudging through the huge grocery store for dinner. They also bought the building next door and turned it into genny's ice cream, and that is already a family favorite for an after dinner treat. The people are always pleasant and warm. I don't think there is another store I would rather visit.”

“I was visiting family in Massachusetts and had to get some last-minute supplies. I stopped into the general store and was greeted by a nice man, Joe. I usually have anxiety talking to people, but he made me feel very comfortable and helped me to find everything I needed. He was very professional and greeted with a warm smile. I asked what was good from the Deli, and he suggested the Wills, and it was surprisingly very delicious. The store was like a step back in time, and I thought it was very nice.”

“Star Market is one of the cleanest, well stocked and organized grocery store in the Marshfield Pembroke area. My one concern is Baggers and Clerks putting raw meat with grocery items, this will kill somebody, I really don't blame the clerks I blame the management for not training them right. Thank you”

Overall great experience!Parking: Parking is strange. The place is surrounded by a low curb so it looks like you can't pull in there but there are cars parked there. Better signage might help.”

“just got a prosciutto de Parma here today and I have to tell you the service was some thing out of 19 7080s. Extremely respectful, extremely good-natured, professional beyond what you see today, and I know that's not saying much as the service industry has truly taken its fall. You could tell that the more mature woman that ran the show not with an iron fist but with respect to her employees. They smiled. They laughed. They look like they were having a great time. I haven't eaten my sandwich as of yet, but I wanted to get this down for the service along. You get a chance and you're starving you go there get the service and then eat it's remarkable beyond words!”

“I remember when this used to be A & P lol. Happy to say brothers is a GIGANTIC upgrade. They have a wonderful selection of food! It's super clean and easy to navigate the store. There's also a space when you can microwave your food and sit down and eat! They also have flowers and soaps and other things besides food!”

“Great bargin for unique buys that have clean ingredients, workers are really friendly and not to mention they have wonderful plants, miniture trees and flowers @ a great bargin too. 5 star if more organic fresh fruits and vegetables were available & vegan options. If they dont have something in stock its likely that you can find it at Market Basket in the same plaza so this location perfect & worth the trip, time and money spent. I would recommend it!”

“Great selection of craft beers from local and out-of-state breweries. The selections are usually different weekly. There are also few hard to find IPA & double IPA from well known out-of-state breweries. The store sells wines and beers year round but between April 1st to January 15 they sell hard liquor as well. Nice spot for lottery tickets and Keno. Nice selection of snacks, candies, and drinks. Very popular with the locals!”

“This looks like just another convenience store from the outside, but it's surprisingly well-stocked inside, with clear, helpful signage. Not only does it have plenty of booze, tobacco, and what appeared to be bong/hookah-like devices to me, but it had a reasonable selection of food and other convenience items. The dude at the register was courteous and efficient, and I'm glad I stopped by this independent outlet on a whim instead of a chain store.”
