“A staple for Massachusetts, Market Basket will always be my favorite place for groceries. The prices are better than anywhere else, and I cannot imagine liking another grocery more! Even as I go to college in NY, I find myself missing the signature tiled floors, low prices, and soft serve from the MB cafe. My beloved Market Basket, I hope to see you soon.”
“Very nice people, great pre made itslian subs in the cooler in the back. Would honestly never think a pre-made sub would be so good, for $4 you get a Better than some Italians ordered at sub shops. Great little place.”
“They don't keep their lettuce fresh or cold. You can TASTE the difference. Cold cut meats aren't upto par. Decent bread selection. Definitely sketchy produce, watch and thoroughly inspect first. Name brand soda is expensive. Overall decently priced, as always, know your prices. Generics look alot like name brands here. Fooled me a couple times.”
“Ordered a large two meat combo subIt was roast beef and turkey with provolone lettuce, tomato, light, onion, mayo and vinaigrette!!!!!!First of all haven’t had a sandwich this good in nh period. reminds me of a Brooklyn, NY deli sandwich everything was fresh, great quality and best of all the customer service was above and beyond! “The people that work here are absolutely fantastic! So nice! ? If they don’t carry what you’re looking for they will the next time! Always trying to please! They have a large store with many options, so keeping it dusted can be a challenge of course. Great location and hours!”

“A bit unorganized when you first walk in, but once you've been there a few times you get used to it. They have a wide selection of beer and liquor and is good for quick shopping visits if you need anything immediately. The family that runs the store is very friendly and helpful if you are looking for a specific kind of beer or alcohol.”
“This store is known for its unique products at higher than ideal prices. But I didn’t know that its customer service was apparently top notch. “We were having a birthday party for a friend of the family. It was a surprise. We got a beautiful cake, and the associates that decorated it did a great job. Everyone said it was delicious, and we really enjoyed it, but we should have gotten a larger cake. Keep up the great work. Thank you for making a successful party and day.”

“I got my son’s birthday cake at BJs and I love the way they did the lettering. I didn’t ask for it that way but last year it didn’t come out the best penmanship so I was worried but when I picked it up it looked great! I decorated it myself with crushed up Oreos as the dirt & put the trucks I got as cake toppers off Amazon myself! The cake was delicious, fresh & moist! I had a lot of left overs and still almost a week later it’s still delicious. I also love their trays of the variety cookies I get every year too!”

“I am glad to see this is still a corner grocery store. My family owned this store from 1935 to 1970 (approximately) when it was called Gaucher's Market. Many generations grew up working here, running the register (often on credit, which is no longer done), delivering groceries to the neighborhood homes in our white van and providing the local community with the best fresh meats from our deli counter. If you grew up on "French Hill" you all knew Gaucher's Market. I still have a large book of matches from a Christmas promotion (which many businesses did back then as advertising), a pencil and the official seal bearing the store's name on them. I am so glad to see that you are continuing the traditions of a corner grocery. My family is proud to be a part of your history!”

“This is the only place I can go that always carries menudo and other Mexican goodies. They also carry the pre-made michelada cups which are great since most of the Mexican restaurants in NH have never heard of one.”

“Was my favorite store, until they remodeled and prices hiked significantly a couple years ago. I still prefer this store for the good selections, particularly with organic and healthier options. But being on a fixed income, I have to do my main grocery shopping elsewhere and pick up specialty items at Hannaford.”

“This store is great The selection is amazing the fruits and vegetables are very good quality the store is clean and I don't have any complaints I would do all of my shopping there if the prices were a little more reasonable. I cannot afford to do all of my shopping there or else I would if the prices were lower it would be so much more convenient.”
