“When we first got our new Palisade, it didn’t take long for a rogue parking lot carriage to leave its mark - a frustrating dent on the trunk. We got a few quotes, but the numbers were, well, a bit jaw-dropping. We thought it was just cosmetic, so we let it be. Fast forward a year, and another misadventure in a tight driveway added a deep gash to the driver’s side door which needed to be addressed.We again shopped around for quotes and were taken aback by the figures we received. Then, I did what most of us do nowadays—I turned to Facebook for advice. A couple of names were provided, but K&D was recommended the most. On a whim, I called them at 8 AM. Ken, the owner, was the one who actually answered the phone, ready and willing to help. By 9 AM, he handed me an estimate for both damages that was notably less than what others had quoted for just one.Ken kept me in the loop during the entire process. When an unforeseen vendor issue threw a wrench in our plans, causing a delay for the trunk dent repair, Ken was proactive. Rather than holding onto the car longer, he gave us the car back and told us he’d get us the first appointment when the vendor was available. Less than a week later, he had us drop the car off to finish the repair. He made our Palisade a priority and we got the car back the same day. Despite my objections, Ken even offered a discounted rate, even though the delay was outside of his control, saying it was all about making things right for the customer.Now, our Palisade? It looks showroom fresh. K&D Autobody’s craftsmanship is top-tier, and their prices? Highly competitive. So, if you’re on the hunt for reliable auto bodywork, especially for a Palisade, I can’t recommend K&D Autobody enough. My process was a bit longer because my doors were on backorder for nearly half a year, but its the manufacturer's fault. Parts are in short supply but I'm glad I went here because they did a fantastic job. My car looks better than it did before the accident. I had my car detailed as well and now my car is immaculate. They also were super helpful as they were able to repair my sunroof while it was in the shop. I also thought it was cool that they send text updates with photos of the car being brought back to life.
