“I am happy to be able to finally find parking at this location.In the past there were so many people coming in parking and then going to lunch or dinner or sometimes even parking to take the orange line into Boston. It was horrible. So Home Depot corrected the problem and posted that you will be towed. Again great job Home Depot and management at Somerville location.We, Pro contractors, are glad we can park more easily and load our trucks without over crowding in the lot like it was prior. If you complain about someone towing your car because you parked in a place that states "customer parking only" when you were not a customer, that is on you!!!. If you feel so entitled that you should be able to park anywhere you like regardless of the rules, then you are part of the problem.Do the rules not apply to you?If you park in Boston in a spot that says "No Parking" and you get towed are you mad at the city for enforcing the rules?Don't get mad at Home Depot for wanting to have ample parking for paying customers and towing the people that think its a free parking lot.KUDOS TO HOME DEPOT FOR ENFORCING POSTED SIGNAGETHANK YOU!!!! “I don't typically write reviews, but I need to give a shout out to Mary M. in the kitchen cabinet design department. She went above and beyond to make the kitchen cabinet design and purchasing process seamless. Here are ways she outperformed: - During the initial consultation, she spent over an hour understanding what we were looking for and creating preliminary sketches. She offered her ideas along the way, based on her many years of experience, and I never once felt that she was upselling. I also valued that she was honest about what would AND would not work - Mary gave us about a month to review the design and personally called us when there was a 30% off cabinets promotion, saving us thousands and thousands of dollars! - During our final consultation, we reviewed additional design options for over 2 hours before finalizing the purchase. We never once felt rushed. In summary, Mary is knowledgeable and highly recommended.”

In addition to the fantastic garden and plant center, They now have really have a deep selection of power and hand tools. “A few years ago, I came to this Home Depot to find plumbing materials for my new bathroom vanity replacement. At that time, I met Kenny who worked in the Plumbing section; he went above and beyond with showing me what to buy, analyzing photos of my current setup on the spot, and instructing me on how to install. This past December 2023, I attempted to replace another bathroom vanity at my home and to much surprise and appreciation, I met Kenny once more at this Home Depot. “I am extremely pleased with the excellent service that ProSource in Woburn provided for my recent purchase of wide plank engineered hardwood flooring. I had a good installer lined up to install a floating floor on top of an old original terrazzo floor in my condo, but was overwhelmed with selecting a product because the small samples the installer had weren't big enough to see what a whole floor would look like, and he only had a few samples on hand. In addition, due to pandemic-related supply chain disruptions I learned that many products were on back order and there was a big price variation in the first few options I looked at. The installer's distributor didn't have a huge selection either, but I had seen a link to the ProSource showroom and knew it was nearby, so just drove around the corner and was lucky to meet up with Paul Coutoumas. Paul not only showed me many more options at a range of prices but also thoroughly explained the extras like the underlayment, transition pieces, timing for delivery, etc. When I told him I wanted a high-end look and quality product but at a reasonable mid-range price, he steered me right to a couple of great options – well known, quality manufacturers with a range of products at a range of prices that I found very reasonable. Paul loaned me a couple of large sample boards to take home. I made a couple of showroom visits, and each time, even if he was very busy with others, Paul made time for me. We also had a few email exchanges and phone conversations and he was always easy to reach or to quickly get back to me if he was tied up. I put in an order pretty quickly and there was a little back and forth after the installer told me more specifically what to order, and Paul was again extremely fast to respond and adjust. Amazingly, the flooring arrived within just a few days and my gorgeous new floors were installed not long after. In other words, Paul was just fantastic - so friendly, helpful, and extremely generous with his time educating me about the various options. Thanks to him and ProSource I was able to make an informed choice and select the perfect product for my needs and my budget, and I absolutely love the gorgeous result. I plan to return soon to Pro Source for bedroom carpet, bathroom flooring, and probably tile as well. I’d never want to go anywhere else after this excellent experience, and very highly recommend them.”

“I cannot say enough about this location and its attention to detail. I ordered doors online and when I picked them up, they helped me get to the parking lot and they gave me a handwritten TY note. Even though I ordered a door installation work order for a job but didnt not hire them; though they could not schedule a time to visit due to my lack of availability, they did a follow up twice over the phone to make sure they looked after me and gave me back the correct amount. I will miss this store and the warmth that the staff extended to me and my family!”

I had some particular dimensions I needed to meet in my kitchen renovation, and made some mistakes when I was first ordering my fridge. Sam called appliance companies on my behalf to ensure that I would be given a full refund. He even scheduled my pickup and delivery for me.First class service is hard to find in the world of big box stores these days. Sam deserves all the credit for the completion of my project. “This review is a month over due. But I need to thank the staff at the Quincy location. I was in need of custom shelves. I called before I made my way and spoke to Derek from the lumber department. He was super helpful and provided an estimate of how much my shelves might cost. I arrived shortly after and was led to a man named Curtis. Curtis showed me various options and then cut the wood into shelves. Also, I expressed my need to build or find a a desk and with the extra material, Curtis went out of his way to actually build me a desk so quickly! A whole desk ! Curtis went above and beyond providing me with the best service ever. Curtis you're amazing - the best!! Leaving, a young guy named Philip was outside gathering carts. He helped me to load everything in my car and was so patient. The Quincy team is really awesome. Thank you all for your great service!”

“I went to Lowe's Dedham the day after Black Friday, when stores were still packed. I found a dishwasher on an incredible deal that fit exactly what I was looking for; one employee was really struggling to set up the purchase for me, since there were none left in stock. They were about ready to give up when another employee, Sean Austin, came over and offered to help. He then spent a solid 20+ minutes with me sorting out placing the order and answering questions; since the vendor couldn't provide ETA estimates over the weekend, he gave me his email and said he'd follow up for me on Monday. He did follow up, and even managed to coordinate an accelerated delivery for me. After an issue with the install team (not Lowes' fault), he did extra work once again to ensure there were no hiccups for my installation. The experience made it feel like I went to a small local appliance shop service-wise - it's not something I've ever experienced at a large global retailer, and I still can't believe how positive an experience it was, especially compared to much less positive experiences at Lowes' primary competitor. I will 100% go to Lowe's for my next appliance thanks to this experience. Thank you Sean!!!”
