“Very convenient and cheaper then a full on vet visit, but they go through it so quickly that the animals are terrified and don't get everything you pay for sometimes. For instance the oral vaccine and treatment if they miss the animals mouth, oh well they don't fix it just move on. I noticed they marked most of the exam as unable to do as well. If they took their time, introducing themselves to the animals to get them to except them maybe it wouldn't be so scary. Also when they take blood they don't always bandage it so blood gets everywhere without noticing at first, as well as little poops or pee pee that is let out from fear. Depending on the people doing the service the experience can be good or bad for the animals. But in the end I appreciate the convenience of being able to just pay for the vaccination or whatnot instead of waiting for a whole appointment at the Veterinary hospital office.”
“If you are traveling through Salem with your dog, New England Dog Biscuit Company is a mandatory stop! It is an adorable neighborhood pet store. Our pup is an incredibly picky eater, but he completely flipped for their house made peanut butter and banana biscuits. They also have the cutest decorated cookies. Beyond the fresh baked goods, the shop is packed with high quality food brands, tough toys, and unique gifts. The staff is genuinely welcoming, loves greeting four legged visitors, and even offered a free sample at the counter. It’s a wonderful small business that genuinely cares about”
“Sandy paws did an amazing job grooming my dog Luna! She can sometimes be anxious and sheds ALOT but they did an awesome job of communication and recommending a few things in regards to de shedding treatment, etc. Would highly recommend!”

Once you become aware of how horrendous high-processed dry dog food is for our furry family and how the industry has brainwashed our Vets - you desperately seek out the best food you can. It's difficult to find, nevermind finding sellers who know their stuff. Well, The Natural Dog has very enthusiastic and helpful employees and Dawn, in particular, has definitely researched and learned her stuff. I can't recommend this place enough.”

“I’m incredibly grateful to have found RiverDog. From the very first phone call with the Peabody staff, it was obvious this place operates on a level of care, professionalism, and genuine love for dogs that goes far beyond anything I’ve experienced before.
My German Shepherd, Wesley, is four years old and has enough energy to power a small village. He started daycare at four months old because there was simply no way I could wear him out on my own. His previous daycare even trained him to run on a treadmill — that’s how intense he is. But despite all of that, they never managed to truly exhaust him, and the experience there became increasingly unpleasant for both of us.
RiverDog changed everything.
Not only is Wesley excited to go, he comes home happy, calm, and so tired that he melts into the couch and sleeps through the night. His obedience has improved, too — every command, every bit of training just clicks better because he’s mentally and physically fulfilled. And the fact that they don’t crate the dogs is a huge bonus. You can feel the difference in how confident, social, and at ease he is.
He adores his friends here — both the four-legged and the two-legged ones — and I never once worried when he stayed for an entire week while I was in Florida. That kind of trust is priceless.

“Jocelyn is amazing - it is really impressive the level of care and patience she has for all of the animals. Our long haired elderly cat, Holly has been seeing Jocelyn for 3 years and we are so thankful for how she not only cleans her up and makes Holly feel so much better (removes knots and cleans out her ears and eyes) but does it in such a kind and caring manner. I truly do not know how she does it! A true cat whisperer. Our latest appointment was at 4pm on a Saturday after I am sure a very long week for her (and it was Valentines Day!) and Jocelyn’s energy and kindness were just like it was first thing in the morning on a beautiful summer day! Jocelyn is simply be best. Highly recommend!”

“I absolutely love Unleashed Daycare! They’re open seven days a week, and my dog has been going there for two years. The staff is wonderful—friendly, caring, and always accommodating. My dog literally flies out of the car the moment we arrive because he’s so excited to be there! He comes home happy and completely exhausted every time. The facility itself is fantastic, with plenty of outdoor space for him to run and play. I highly recommend Unleashed Daycare to anyone looking for a safe and fun place for their pup!”

“Walked into Wag N Wash Beverly a couple months ago on a total whim because I desperately needed a nail trim for my senior basset (hound parents KNOW how those nails are) - and I’m so glad I did. They did an incredible job right off the bat.
We were so impressed that we ended up switching our mini Aussie and our basset hound over from our previous groomer. The team really listens to what you want and actually delivers, which feels rare. On top of that, their pricing is seriously so good for the quality you get. Couldn’t recommend them more.”

“After my Dalmatian had surgery on his foot, he has been terrified of getting his nails cut. I have not found another groomer that has been able to work with him and get it done in a safe and flexible manner. They were patient and kind, even why he was doing backflips on the table. Through the glass I could see multiple kisses on his snout and there were plenty of treats supplied after. The women who assisted him assured me that although he was difficult, they would like to set a plan to see him moving forward and hopefully quell some of his fears.”
