However, their inventory can be inconsistent—at times, items are out of stock, not fresh, or close to their expiration dates. It’s always a good idea to call ahead. The staff, though, are incredibly nice and friendly, making it a pleasant shopping experience overall”
“Hannaford Pharmacy is the best I've found in the area around Lexington and Waltham. Staff are always professional, always helpful. They answer the phone right away. They always check to find the better price between my Medicare copay vs. GoodRx and if they have not done this in advance they willingly check for and give me the better price at pick- up. When I use GoodRx, Hannaford is almost always the lowest price when compared to ten or so other area pharmacys, almost always lower than CVS or Walgreens.”
“Delightfully warm (people), cozy, hidden Guatemalan “much-more-than-a-mini-market” gem. I live a block away and I’m here 3+ x/wk. I’m experiencing cognitive dissonance as I reluctantly invite more people, but the owner deserves it. There’s a hidden restaurant inside, but walk straight back to discover a tiny corner buffet which is where I feast. With freshly cooked meats, flavorful black beans, and the BEST pupusas and chili relleno I’ve had in years, you will be transported gastronomically.”

“Went to Shaw's this morning. They have a good assortment of wares and fresh food. Also, they have a wing bar! They don't have many clothes for sale, though. Staff are super nice ?!! All in all, great grocery store! Would recommend to anyone.”

“Great quality produce and also wide variety of ingredients and frozen ready-made meals and snacks from all over South Asia. At first the store seemed small, but it is so well organized (and clean) compared to most Indian Grocery stores, that they can fit in a much larger and better quality selection.”
“Newer BJs with easy parking and easy to maneuver in store. Seems to have all the stuff u would want but no booze sold at this location. Best part it's is east in and out and open til I think 9pm or 10pm every day..”
“Excellent store. Very clean. Employees are helpful. Tasty and fresh bakery (especially italian bread!). Reasonable prices, especially if you are tech-savvy and can look into their app to get nice discounts. For example this weekend they had nice grapes for 1.77$/lb and fresh salmon for 9$/lb. Not sure if you can find better price, so if live nearby and can wait for deals it's okay.”
