“I had been struggling for over 2 weeks to get a prescription filled. I was having issues with insurance coverage when they sent me to VFP and I luckily spoke to Dana at the IL location. She was able to finally get my prescription filled because she thought outside the box and I am incredibly grateful! The medication was shipped to me overnight and I am hopeful this will bring me some much needed relief as perimenopause has been tough. I am also confident that I could call this pharmacy with any questions and would be met with patience, kindness and understanding. Well done!”

“They have carried out a nice renovation since I was there last. I had defected to using Market Basket which is closer to my house. I was not expecting to go to Hannaford's today but was with a friend so we stopped there. The problem: since I wasn't in my own car, I had no supermarket shopping bags with me. It is bad enough that you have to pay 10 cents a bag to carry out your food. Guaranteed the bags do not cost them 10 cents apiece. WORSE: the paper bags were garbage. They tore almost immediately when I tried to pick them up. They weren't that heavily loaded but all three tore. If they are going to make you pay for paper bags, the least they can do is give you a functional bag.”

“Great store! Excellent customer service from manager Dennis who is always helpful and goes above and beyond for customers. Derrick and Omega are great with excellent people skills but DEFINITELY a different experience at night with a grumpy shift leader named Mikael. Not only is he not helpful but his attitude almost spoils it for the whole store. Other than one bad apple that works at night named Mikael this store really cares about customer service. 5 stars from me but I won't go in at night anymore unfortunately:(:(:(”

“Hannaford Pharmacy is the best I've found in the area around Lexington and Waltham. Staff are always professional, always helpful. They answer the phone right away. They always check to find the better price between my Medicare copay vs. GoodRx and if they have not done this in advance they willingly check for and give me the better price at pick- up. When I use GoodRx, Hannaford is almost always the lowest price when compared to ten or so other area pharmacys, almost always lower than CVS or Walgreens.”

“Pandemic Senior store: this has long been my neighborhood grocery. During the Pandemic I've been going at "Senior Hours" at 6am on Thursday's. I'm impressed. There is a well masked crew of staff restocking and one of two other parties of customers. There is always a checkout open despite the lack of early customers. Sometimes they lack stock, but I gather that is true of all it's competitors. It is well marked and friendly; that's what I need.”

“I honestly don't know why this pharmacy has such bad reviews. I've lived in watertown for over a year and I absolutely love this pharmacy. Dealing with any pharmacy in Newton is an absolute nightmare, I absolutely hate having to call them for my prescription. I just wish this pharmacy had a better system for medication ordering and stocking.”

“had a great experience with the pharmacy here. i needed a medication transferred and the pharmacists were very kind and had it ready within the day! when i went to pick it up, they were very professional and even helped me find a lower cost prescription, as my insurance did not cover it. very pleased and will return.the hold times are relatively long, unless you call early in the morning. i took a star off because the store itself was very disorganized, and the sections were incorrectly labeled. but 5/5 for the pharmacy”

“I just had the fastest and easiest blood draw of my life here! I've always been told (I'm 51 btw) how hard to find and difficult to stick my veins were and it's always a cause of anxiety for me. The tech I had found, stuck and drew blood from my arm in less than a minute without fuss or pain! Seriously, I barely felt it. It was such a relief to have it done and over with so quickly. Thank you!”

“Front staff are nice, helpful if you have questions, and the place is generally organized. Hence the 4 stars to let management know they do good work. But if this was just about the Pharmacy, I would give this review 3/5 stars. I do get my prescriptions filled on time, but the pharmacists don't seem to want to be there when you speak to them. They are generally cold, and keep their answers to as few words as possible (especially the consulting pharmacists). Also it was really difficult, getting through the AI assistant to get a real person to speak with....had to trick the system with my response. The system kept giving me answers I didn't need. Walgreens pharmacy in East Arlington was the best from years of experience with them, but my insurance will now only allow me to order from CVS.”

And I mean the best pharmacy out of all, better than any, including Walgreens & the rest of em.
