“They have carried out a nice renovation since I was there last. I had defected to using Market Basket which is closer to my house. I was not expecting to go to Hannaford's today but was with a friend so we stopped there. The problem: since I wasn't in my own car, I had no supermarket shopping bags with me. It is bad enough that you have to pay 10 cents a bag to carry out your food. Guaranteed the bags do not cost them 10 cents apiece. WORSE: the paper bags were garbage. They tore almost immediately when I tried to pick them up. They weren't that heavily loaded but all three tore. If they are going to make you pay for paper bags, the least they can do is give you a functional bag.”
“Hannaford Pharmacy is the best I've found in the area around Lexington and Waltham. Staff are always professional, always helpful. They answer the phone right away. They always check to find the better price between my Medicare copay vs. GoodRx and if they have not done this in advance they willingly check for and give me the better price at pick- up. When I use GoodRx, Hannaford is almost always the lowest price when compared to ten or so other area pharmacys, almost always lower than CVS or Walgreens.”

“Delightfully warm (people), cozy, hidden Guatemalan “much-more-than-a-mini-market” gem. I live a block away and I’m here 3+ x/wk. I’m experiencing cognitive dissonance as I reluctantly invite more people, but the owner deserves it. There’s a hidden restaurant inside, but walk straight back to discover a tiny corner buffet which is where I feast. With freshly cooked meats, flavorful black beans, and the BEST pupusas and chili relleno I’ve had in years, you will be transported gastronomically.”
“Excellent store. Very clean. Employees are helpful. Tasty and fresh bakery (especially italian bread!). Reasonable prices, especially if you are tech-savvy and can look into their app to get nice discounts. For example this weekend they had nice grapes for 1.77$/lb and fresh salmon for 9$/lb. Not sure if you can find better price, so if live nearby and can wait for deals it's okay.”

“It was OK I like Market Basket. I like the pricing is compatible. I’m just not happy with how the food process is. We have people that play around and joke and talk all those type of things that should not be in a workplace. The Customer should be Get that is more than I mean yeah have fun but not at the expense of the customer waiting for their food to be affair and overall I gave him before. That’s the only guy I have is the prepared food sub mainly section.”
