“Everybody has an opinion about getting your vehicle serviced at a dealership (cue stealership memes), but I've found Watertown to be the most reliable and trustworthy of the places I've tried. This is true enough that I make the hike from Wakefield to come here even though there are several other places closer. They are good about doing the requested service without coming back and trying to pad the bill with a thousand other 'recommended' things. I'm hoping my Tacoma lasts a long time - so I feel better having folks work on it that really know this vehicle. To that point, this dealership went above and beyond getting me qualified for, and completing the work on, the frame recall for my previous Tacoma.”

“Came in for winter tire changeover. Was told at 2pm that they were a man down. I said, no problem, I’ll be here until 5:30.
Got the car at 5:30 and hit the highway and the car starts shimmying right away. I was not happy.
Called the next day. Made a priority appointment. When I showed up for the spot, I was polite but firm. I told one of the guys that I had sat patiently for 3.5 hours waiting for my tires the first time in. No problem. I had the time. Today, I don’t have the time and did not want to wait. I have never left Direct Tire with out-of-balance tires.
So, Fabio, a mechanic that I met looked at the tires and rims. He brought me out to show me the problem. The right side tires were wobbly as he turned them. Huh. I had not seen that before.
So we made a plan. I asked that he rebalance the tires to the best of his ability and put the two best balanced tires up front. He agreed that was the best plan of action.
I was not there long, and when I left, I hopped on the highway, and it was 100% better. Not perfect, but so much better. I know that it will never be perfect. I guess this is what had been done in the past without me knowing.
Once again, great service, people who care, and a super staff keep me coming back. It may be a little more expensive, but it’s always worth it. Every single time.
I appreciate your attention to customer service. It makes all the difference in the world.

“Hands down the best auto service experience I have ever had, and consistently so. I fully trust them with my family's vehicles and safety.
- They take care of you here and treat you like family. Honestly, even better than family. They truly take care of you car and understand how much reliable repair service matters. They are trustworthy and clearly are not pushing unnecessary repairs (unless of course you don't care about your car being in good shape).
- They get things done on a fast schedule and have gone the extra mile for me multiple times. They get you complementary Lyft service and/or a loaner car when needed.
- They clearly strive for operational excellence and first-rate customer service and somehow over-deliver on that. The garage floor is organized and clearly well run. They provide timely updates, videos of your car's parts requiring repair, and helpful explainer videos so you can be informed about the necessity of a repair.
- This may not be the right place if you only care about minimal cost (and are fine with questionable quality). They are not as cost competitive as some small pop-and-son garages, but their service and quality is so much better that it is hard to compare those. Imagine the customer-first approach of a great local shop, but paired with quality that far exceeds anything else I have ever worked with.
- The owner Charlie is very present and it shows. He takes every individual customer seriously and will ensure they are taken care of. His influence and energy drives the culture there. Also shoutout to Craig. He just has such a great positive attitude and will make things happen for you quickly when you really need it.”

“My family and I broke down on the turnpike. I called and Mike the owner answered. He was very friendly and understanding that I had someone coming to get us and couldn't wait for the tow truck as they were tied up with an accident. Mike took my fiances triple a card number and we found out it was expired. I told him I could give him my credit card. He said he wasn't worried and we could settle up when I picked up the car. He offered to let me install the alternator there and didn't try to push any services on me as I'm pretty sure they are a mechanic shop as well. This morning I drove out with my truck and trailer and grabbed the car. They had it in the shop most likely because it was dead and probably wouldn't lock. I was impressed and thought to myself this guy cares about his customers. The customer service inside the office was as good as it gets as well, the lady at the desk gave me paperwork so we could get reimbursed by aaa as I didn't have the new card on me. “After getting gas at Belmont Auto, I couldn't start my car. I called AAA and asked them to tow my car to my mechanic in Arlington. AAA told me it could take 1 to 2 hours because they were very backed up. I noticed there was a mechanic shop within the gas station, so I went inside and rang the bell. Someone came out, and I explained my situation. He went inside, grabbed a jumper pack, jump-started my car, and drove it in front of the garage door. He wanted to make sure the alternator was charging the battery, so he tested it and confirmed the alternator was fine.
I mentioned that we had been on vacation and the car had been parked for three weeks. He advised me to leave the car running for at least an hour to recharge the battery. He also noticed my right front tire was very low and checked all the tire pressures for me. After less than 10 minutes, when he was done, I asked him how much I owed. He told me there was no charge. Belmont Auto Center really made my day!

“I have been using Artos for both my families car repair needs as well as gasoline for over 10 years. Anytime I have any sort of question regarding a car issue, I know I can easily roll up to Arto and ask his advice (or even call/ text him). He has never tried to sell me on a service or part I didn't need and I trust his opinion on repair do's (or don'ts) 100%. He has even told me "It's cheaper to order the part online - order it (here's the exact part number and place to buy it cheapest) and I'll install it for you". He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and an overall great guy to have as a mechanic. “I want to give high praise to Jamal Bridges, Tech specialist for Lexus. I called him from the road on the way to Washington DC for the holiday week as the navigation system was not functioning on my brand new car. He patiently and expertly instructed me how to reset system to get Google map functioning . I needed to call again for Tech Support as I couldn’t lock the car as I had packages on back seat that sent alerts. Once packages removed the doors still not locking. Jamal calmly reviewed numerous steps to try to get car locked.Manual locking worked. I met Jamal today at Lexus of Watertown to reboot the Connect Drive as malfunctioning, tested all keys to lock and remote start. He didn’t leave until all my questions and concerns were addressed.
Jamal Bridges is an outstanding technician, a very kind caring employee who should be recognized. I’m very grateful that he answered my call.”
