Years go by, extensions are added to the high school, traffic on Common Street is heavier the little convenient variety store is sold and bought and sold . Now time has favored the keepers of this small Handy Store. “Victoria Spa has a great selection of craft beers and cider. They also have all the usual domestic beers as well as a decent selection of average table wine (like Apothic). Their coolers and shelves are always well stocked. They don't sell hard liquor. The people who work there are very personable and helpful. They even ordered a certain cider for me (Stella Artois Cidre!)They carry Downeast cider, too. There are a bunch of tables where townspeople sit and play Keno, scratch lottery tickets and watch tv (game shows or what have you). It's a very convenient place to pick up some beer, cider or wine.”
