“I have been using Artos for both my families car repair needs as well as gasoline for over 10 years. Anytime I have any sort of question regarding a car issue, I know I can easily roll up to Arto and ask his advice (or even call/ text him). He has never tried to sell me on a service or part I didn't need and I trust his opinion on repair do's (or don'ts) 100%. He has even told me "It's cheaper to order the part online - order it (here's the exact part number and place to buy it cheapest) and I'll install it for you". He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and an overall great guy to have as a mechanic. “I love all these 1 star reviews because it's no longer a Shell. But has anyone tried to edit the location? It is, indeed, East Coast gas but the location is great and the station is clean, with full windshield washing stations and paper towels. My only real gripe is that my debit was limited to $50 per fill up. Had to run my card twice.”
“Max is the best! So glad I found him through a referral 4 years ago! He isn't a shady mechanic and doesn't try to scam women into making unnecessary repairs. He will tell you what needs to be done now, and what can be done in 6 months if needed. One time i brought a used car I just purchased in for him to look over, and he said everything was good and didnt charge me a dime! Also very nice guy in general! He has worked on my Hyundai, ram promaster, and volvo. My husband also takes his Tacoma here and has saved loads by not going to the dealership. I already recommend galen st service to all of my friends, but wanted to post this review too! My doggos love to come visit too!”
“Ahmed was communicative, responsive, and an excellent mechanic. Most importantly he took the time to make sure I understood what was wrong with my car and what the repairs were that needed to happen. As someone who is not well versed in how my car operates I am so grateful for the extra time he took to make sure I understood what was going on, and the kind and clear way he explained what was going on to me. I recommend this shop highly. Fair prices and an incredible local businessman. I will be trusting this shop with my current car and all future cars from here on out!”
