“Came in for winter tire changeover. Was told at 2pm that they were a man down. I said, no problem, I’ll be here until 5:30.
Got the car at 5:30 and hit the highway and the car starts shimmying right away. I was not happy.
Called the next day. Made a priority appointment. When I showed up for the spot, I was polite but firm. I told one of the guys that I had sat patiently for 3.5 hours waiting for my tires the first time in. No problem. I had the time. Today, I don’t have the time and did not want to wait. I have never left Direct Tire with out-of-balance tires.
So, Fabio, a mechanic that I met looked at the tires and rims. He brought me out to show me the problem. The right side tires were wobbly as he turned them. Huh. I had not seen that before.
So we made a plan. I asked that he rebalance the tires to the best of his ability and put the two best balanced tires up front. He agreed that was the best plan of action.
I was not there long, and when I left, I hopped on the highway, and it was 100% better. Not perfect, but so much better. I know that it will never be perfect. I guess this is what had been done in the past without me knowing.
Once again, great service, people who care, and a super staff keep me coming back. It may be a little more expensive, but it’s always worth it. Every single time.

“When you have an older car and do not know much about cars, going to a car service center can feel a lot like going to the dentist. You know something may be wrong, you know it may affect your safety, but you do not always know what is urgent, what can wait, how much it should cost, or whether you should approve a recommended service.
Because of that, I usually feel very stressed and anxious when I have to take my car in. Express Tire & Auto Service was different. I brought my car in because I was concerned about my brakes and some overall issues while driving. They performed a very thorough inspection and sent me photos and videos of what they found, along with clear explanations and an online estimate where I could review each item and decide what to approve.
That system was incredibly helpful. At many places, I receive information verbally and can only understand part of what is being explained, so I end up feeling pressured to approve things because I am worried about safety. Here, I had enough time and information to make an informed decision. I really appreciated the transparency, professionalism, and kindness of the team.
They were friendly, patient, and reliable from start to finish. I feel very lucky to have found this place, and I feel much more comfortable and confident driving my car now. I would highly recommend Express Tire & Auto Service, especially to anyone with an older car or anyone who wants clear and detailed explanations before making repair decisions. “I have been using Artos for both my families car repair needs as well as gasoline for over 10 years. Anytime I have any sort of question regarding a car issue, I know I can easily roll up to Arto and ask his advice (or even call/ text him). He has never tried to sell me on a service or part I didn't need and I trust his opinion on repair do's (or don'ts) 100%. He has even told me "It's cheaper to order the part online - order it (here's the exact part number and place to buy it cheapest) and I'll install it for you". Yesterday, the tire pressure in all four tires of my Hyundai Ioniq6 were low. I drove around looking for a garage with an air pump. I tried four or five places and they were all either closed or said their pumps were frozen.
I happened upon Belmont Auto Center. Ok no judgement please... I didn't know how to use the air pump and was exhausted, frantically prepping for the upcoming storm. The woman at the register was very pleasant and helpful. She told me I could ask the man out back for assistance. There was a guy removing some ice/snow in back of the shop. I asked if he could help me. I felt embarrassed. The guy didn't hesitate to help. I wanted to give him a tip. He refused it. I said that the tip was for his kindness and willingness to stop what what he was doing to help me with something that I should have been able to do myself. This young man smiled and said he was just happy to help. It made my day. I told him I wanted to leave a review and he clearly appreciated that. His name is Anthony, he owns the shop.
My take away, and extrapolation is that Belmont Auto Center Center is a respectable and trustworthy business that values its customers. I highly recommend them on that basis.

“Max is the best! So glad I found him through a referral 4 years ago! He isn't a shady mechanic and doesn't try to scam women into making unnecessary repairs. He will tell you what needs to be done now, and what can be done in 6 months if needed. One time i brought a used car I just purchased in for him to look over, and he said everything was good and didnt charge me a dime! Also very nice guy in general! He has worked on my Hyundai, ram promaster, and volvo. My husband also takes his Tacoma here and has saved loads by not going to the dealership. I already recommend galen st service to all of my friends, but wanted to post this review too! My doggos love to come visit too!”
