“The reservation center by phone gave me the wrong price for a 2 day rental and they made the reservation for the wrong day & the wrong number of days. The on-site representatives were great and fixed the reservations but could not help me with the rental rate. Due to that incorrect rate, I needed to change the number of days for the rental. The representatives at the Lexington,MA Enterprise were great. Both were kind, understanding, helpful & nice. Please fix your phone reservation center system!”

“Was just fine. Corolla I rented was cleaned and prepped as I waited, but I had reserved the night before at 10:00 PM.
Clearly some angry travelers had some bad experiences or made some bad decisions and blamed the staff. But, mine was fine. I was expecting the worst with a 3.4 rating but would rent from here again.
It’s a small staff 2 people only here though, so I think if you order a rental after hours or get long line when checking in or out it is literally because there are only 2 employees and they have no facilities.”

He called other Budget dealers to find the proper equipment, while assisting other customers, nothing was found. Great guy!”
“I know others have had terrible experiences here, but mine was great so thought it was worth giving the review.
I rented a “Kia Soul or similar” for 3 days while family was in town and we only had 1 car. Upon arrival to the store the staff greeted me and were friendly. He stopped what he was doing to help me get my car and get out of there. I had my newborn with me so I appreciated the urgency. He was on the phone with someone from corporate, but got me checked in and out the door in just a few minutes. He also offered me a free an upgrade and it ended up being a Volvo CX90 - nicest car I’ve ever driven. He warned me it had not been vacuumed, but I told him I didn’t mind. It did need a cleaning, but was not gross and I was grateful for the upgrade anyway.
Returning was super easy too and that staff member was friendly and welcoming as well.
I’d rent here again if needed.”
“Had a great experience at the Budget in Waltham, MA, on the morning of December 2, 2024. We rented a car in Montreal to drive back to Boston and ended up with a Jeep—not what we expected, and the gas mileage was rough.
When we dropped it off in Waltham, the woman working there (wish I got her name!) was awesome. She explained that since it was an international rental, we’d have to call the 800 number for most issues, but she still went out of her way to see if she could help. She managed to get us a discount to make up for the crazy gas costs, which we really appreciated.
She didn’t promise anything but totally delivered and was so kind and understanding the whole time. A small gesture like that made a big difference. Thanks for the great service!”

“I booked my rental online, but when I arrived, the counter attendant explained that the online system doesn’t check the actual inventory for that specific Hertz location. Because of that, there were no cars available even though I had a confirmed reservation.
Teddy went above and beyond to help me. He found a way to get me into a vehicle that wasn’t even in the regular inventory rotation, and he did whatever he needed to do to make sure I wasn’t left without a rental. His effort truly saved the experience.
Hertz should really fix their online reservation system, but Teddy deserves recognition for exceptional customer service.”
