“One doesn’t expect much going into a hardware store but I was blown away by how nice of an experience I had at this location. My boyfriend and I were immediately greeted upon entry and we were quickly guided to the section we needed. We browsed the store and were once again greeted to see if we needed anything, but not pressured.When we arrived at the checkout line, there was one person being rung up and despite us having no problem waiting another 30 seconds to be rung up, another friendly employee offered to ring us up right away. He let us know about the freshly smoked hot dogs they were offering!After checking out, we came to a booth with two different flavors of mini dogs and were told we could take as many as we liked. They were so delicious! The staff serving them were incredibly friendly as well. We left the store in a great mood and highly impressed by the level of service. Thank you so much!”

“Called here today for a discontinued toolbox. A woman with a cool Irish accent was so patient and kind with me on the phone while I asked her to look up several different sku # to see what they had in stock. When I arrived, the same woman, Rachel, was just as kind, patient and thorough in person as she was on the phone. Jess, the woman who rang me up, was super friendly and kind. She engaged with my 6 month old son who I was carrying and made him smile. When Rachel and Brian were loading my purchases onto my trailer, Brian and I engaged about the device he used to bring the toolboxes outside, he was also kind and friendly. I had a wonderful experience with this purchase, and it was also my birthday, which made the experience even better! I'd make this my go to HFT if it wasn't so far from my home. But I'll be back to shop when I'm in the area!! THANK YOU!”
“Rocky’s Ace Hardware in Millis, MA is always helpful and attentive to its customers. But the experience I had yesterday was truly exceptional. The battery in my car fob died, and I couldn’t start the car. Justin at Rocky’s Ace Hardware located the correct battery, and opened the fob and replaced it for me. It wasn’t that easy to maneuver the fob to get it open, and then figure out how to release the battery. I’m so grateful to Justin and all the employees at Rockys!!”

“Coolidge Hardware is our go to place when we want professional service and need high quality products. We have been going to Coolidge Hardware for over 30 years for high quality paint, paint brushes, hardware (screws, locks, keys...) and advice. I once brought a small chip off of an old wall we were repairing, and they were able to match the paint EXACTLY. Always professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful!”

“We needed playground wood chips for our back yard. Called Sam White & Sons in Medfield and were able to schedule a delivery within a few days. I ordered 5 yards and that was a bit too much (the guy on the phone estimated 10-14 yards, that would be enough for a whole school playground...)The truck driver was excellent, managed to maneuver the truck thru our driveway (somewhat narrow with overhanging tree limbs) into our back yard. He was professional, kind and friendly.We bought what they call "certified playground wood chips", but I was disappointed because a lot of it is thin sawdust, the fine fibers get into your nose and throat even when the material is wet, you need to wear a mask when spreading it around. I doubt it will last more than a couple of years. My advice is to order the coarse wood chips, I think that's the stuff you see at school playgrounds, larger chips, less fine dust.Overall- they grossly overestimated the quantity we needed, and the material they recommended was not the best for our needs. But still- great service, fair prices, recommended!”
