“I love a good sandwich with a side of cookies, ?. I was SHOCKED to find a place on the Cape that compares to a NYC Deli Sandwich. Their meatball parms tasted so close to home that I thought my Nonna came back to life and was working at Lambert's. My daughter had the traditional Italian sandwich and when they handed it to her she said, "What is this a football". Everyone of their sandwiches could feed a family.
Friendly staff and reasonable prices. I have found my go-to sandwich shop while on the Cape.”

“Bigger on the inside! Considerably pricier than big box grocery store, but WILDLY CONVENIENT. Fancy’s Market is a downtown-walkable “goodies & groceries” hub. We got a big scoop of fresh local cranberries (Week of Thanksgiving), ice cream, plus onions and peppers to go with tonight’s dinner sausages. The quaint exterior hides surprisingly large back room where canned goods, cookies, marshmallows and more are in stock.”

“Shaw’s is a solid grocery store, and honestly, I like it much more than other options in the area. You can find everything you need here — from fresh fruits, vegetables, and bread to quality meats, seafood, wine, and a wide selection of everyday essentials.
Compared to places like Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s, which are often overpriced and limited in variety, Shaw’s offers a far better balance of quality, selection, and value. It’s a one-stop shop that makes grocery shopping quick and convenient.
The store is clean, well-organized, and usually not overly crowded. Definitely my go-to store whenever I’m in the area.”

“Great little food shop. Tons of fruit juices, pickled veggies like sauerkraut etc., preserves, noodles, sauces, staples, didn’t notice any beer though. All Russian, German, Polish, Bulgarian, and Lithuanian foods. If you go make sure to get Krakus garlic pickles, best I’ve ever had!”
“It used to be a gas station so as of now it looks a little run down from the outside. Don't let that steer you away from great food with a great variety of groceries. The food is amazing but the Tacos are the best.”

“Welcoming, easy to shop, and better prices than nearby competitors. Despite the addition of self checkout lanes (which I loathe) they still generally keep their checkout lanes well staffed, for quick service. Their pickup service is great too.”

“Regardless of my unfamiliarity with some language barriers, employees go out of their way to assist me. Although smack dab in the middle of downtown Hyannis (640 Main Street #1), this store is convenient regardless of the fact it's a one-way street. If Main St. is too congested, try North or South Street to Sea Street Extention. Plenty of off-street parking. Well organized shelves, clean and a variety of interesting foods including our familiar American fare. One of my favorite convenient stores.”
“I would like to credit Brad in the Meat Department for always being friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He is always pleasant and kind. He is a wonderful ambassador for the Mashpee store. He should give lessons to those in the produce department on being pleasant to customers. There are a few who are sour and seem to hate their jobs. Kudos to Brad!”

“Dollar general is a great store to buy cheap items. But that's exactly what they are CHEAP! They do have an assortment of different items though and sometimes it doesn't matter if u buy the cheap version compared to the more expensive version. Anyway would definitely shop there for certain things, couldn't do your whole shopping there though!”

“I realized I forgot to bring my assistive device that helps me open things, so, at the checkout, I ask the gent, “would you mind opening the bottles I bought? Maybe just a few of them?”
That man opened ALL cans/bottles for me, and asked if there’s any other help he might offer. So so kind.
I tried to find his name in the receipt but I don’t see it. It was today, 6/27/25, at 8:28 pm, and the guy was wearing an N95 if that helps.

“I've been going to this shopping at stop n shop for years and with every year they never cease to amaze me when they renovate or change things in the store. And I think it's because it's always the customers that they think about and the convenience of finding all the products they need.”

“Today I was picking up an extremely large doordash delivery order with many heavy items all stacked extremely high on one pallet. It all began to fall over as I was leaving the store and a young girl named Elise jumped in right away without even being asked and started helping me pick things up. Not only did she help
me pick them up and put them back on the pallet, she got a cart and helped me redistribute some of the items to the cart and helped me bring it to my car. She was so extremely nice and sweet, she went above and beyond and if it wasn't for her I don't know what I would have done.”
“This Hyannis store is just your basic stop and shop, nothing really remarkable about it, except for the lovely woman who stands by the sushi counter making delicious sushi every day! She is so kind, professional and SO talented and if you're reading this review and decide to grab a tray from her, definitely let her know what a gem she is. I hope the corporate office acknowledges her appropriately as well!”
