The work was well done, and when it turned out that we needed our shirts a day earlier than they realized, the worked way past closing to get it done. Then they waited up way past their closing time, because I got lost on thecway to pick up. Good people!”

He was highly-communicative and always available to answer my (many) questions. Sir Speedy provided proofs so we could ensure color-matching and pick the paper style we liked. “I met Tom a while back at New England Comics a few doors over from his shop. Great guy, down to earth comic nerd and super framer. I follow xmen pretty hard core. SO I have a pretty extensive collection of books and original pen and ink drawings. Guess where I had them framed? needless to say we geeked out over marvel stuff while framing my stuff. Now I can hang them on the wall to enjoy everyday. Thanks dude!”

“My recent customer service experience with the tech department at the Natick store was so exceptional it prompted me to write. Having my work computer unexpectedly crash I was frazzled when I arrived at the tech help desk. Jeff was very patient giving me quite a bit of time trying to get my computer to reboot. We were only able to partially bring it back to life, but he was able to back up my files, which was a major relief. Needing an immediate solution to be able to get back to work, Jeff helped me find the best deal on replacement computer to meet my needs, and overnight had it set up with all my programs and files transferred over. Thomas, the dept. manager, also helped troubleshoot my old computer and suggested it may be covered under the insurance I had purchase over three years ago. To my surprise it is covered! Thomas helped me communicate with the insurance company, printed out the necessary paperwork and shipping label, and packaged up and mailed back my old computer for either repair or full replacement cost. When I mentioned my subscription to McAfee had just renewed last month he jumped on the phone to make sure I would receive full reimbursement. I have had a long running problem with my Staples Rewards account, having tried a couple of times in the past to get it corrected, without success. He made some calls on my behalf and got it straightened out without me having to do a thing. I have since returned to the store for help setting some things up on my new computer and Thomas got it up and running in no time and at no cost. My experience felt more like the personalized care I would expect from a mom and pop size store but certainly not a big box type store. My only concern is that should I need them again in the future, they will no longer be there. I hope Staples realizes what they have and are able to retain them.”

“I work at MIT, and we have used Fenway Group for printing all kinds of things, including laminated student name plates and business cards. We place very large orders, and they always arrive quickly. The quality is excellent, and so is the customer service. This summer, I unfortunately had to give Fenway an enormous order to do, on very short notice. I didn't think that there was any way that they could turn it around as quickly as we needed, but they did it, and the quality was still perfection. I can't recommend this company enough. They really helped us out in a pinch, and they've been an excellent partner in general for many years.”

“I haven’t been to a Staples Connect before, though I can guarantee I will start going more often. I came today to ship some items, but I saw a monitor that I have been interested in for a while now. The staff was great in helping me find information about this monitor, but who I found the most helpful was the cashier, Shirish. Shirish was super friendly, supportive and relatable. Not only was he super fun to talk with, but he was also able to answer all my questions and informed me of their coupons and app. In the end, Shirish was able to help me get a good deal on my monitor. I had a frustrating day at work, but Shirish honestly made my day a whole lot better.”
“I continue to be impressed by the Staples store in Needham, Highland Avenue. In this review I wish to thank Dave McNeish for his help with printing photographs for a family event. It was help that was needed although the purchase was nominal. Dave was helpful and treated me with respect considering the circumstances. I often come here to hang out and get out of my home office. Once here I start remembering items that I need. Even when I come to the store to hang out and have coffee, I never leave without buying something. Great customer service is valuable in today's retail store marketplace. Why visit a store when most items are available online? I like the feel of a brick and mortar store. I like the interaction between sales staff and me. I like to interact with other customers. What's on sale? What's trending? The experience online is linear. It's visual on the online stores. Many more senses are involved with an in store experience. Visually you see the products but in a three dimensional way when seeing items in person. Here I can sit in an office chair and write this. It smells new. It feels supportive and yet comfortable. A possible sale today? Who knows. With a good sales person, I feel comfortable in returning to this store again. If I had a bad experience I might not return. Accommodations to Dave McNeish at the Needham store!”
“I actually live 3 minutes from another FedEx, but I happily drive 20 minutes to this FedEx because they have unbelievable professional, efficient and trustworthy staff. They have never lost any of my packages, and one day I forgot a signed blank check at their counter… they looked me up and called me immediately to let me know about the check, I went back and grabbed it. Basically saved me from a major disaster. Love them all to pieces!”
