“Elia's has been a Wilmington staple for many years, and although I've only started going in the past 10 years of my life, I wish I had started going sooner.

Where else in Wilmington can you get groceries, deli and grill-able meats, and liquor all in one store?

As it's local, the prices can be a little less than desirable, but just for convenience sake alone it's worth it, not to mention supporting small, local business.

Personal favorites are the marinated meats (either from the counter, or over in the fridge pre packed) especially the steak tips, however their chicken salad is a sleeper hit, and I haven't tried one of their other salads that have disappointed thus far (the red bliss dill potato salad is amazing).”

“I wanted to leave this review to give a special shout out to Lisa in the prepared food department. I called on Sunday an hour before closing and asked if they could make 15 subs. Lisa answered the phone and, despite being busy, promised to do her best to get the subs done as soon as possible. When I arrived just 15 minutes later, the large order of turkey subs was nearly finished. What Lisa didn't know was that we were having a gathering after my aunt's funeral, and many more people showed up than expected, causing us to run out of food within the first hour. I truly appreciate Lisa going the extra mile on such a difficult day for my family. Hope this review finds its way back to her so that her and the other two staff members know how thankful I am for there efforts.”

“This store is beyond amazing. The manager and staff are extremely kind and friendly. The store is spotless, I can’t say enough about this location. Being a previous manager/supervisor in this field, I had to compliment the Manager personally. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY VISIT THIS LOCATION FOR AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE. I find this to be rare in retail these days. This Manager and staff should be commended for their hard work…….. I will definitely be back. !!!!!!”
