“Let’s face it, hardware is hardware, but great service is another thing! I go to Hillside for their extremely knowledgeable, attentive and friendly employees, that and the bitchin’ antique radio playing cool jazz! I live close enough to three other similar stores (2 are Ace & arguably more convenient) but I chose to go to Hillside because Tom, the manager & Jerry, the owner (no cartoon jokes!!) take the time to help me sort out what I need for projects and products. And when I’ve had to return items, I’ve never had to justify myself. The whole staff carries the same helpful, relaxed attitude and it’s obvious that’s something that’s instilled from the top down! Harder to find these days than a left-handed smoke shifter! (You’ll find one in Aisle 2 in the plumbing section in the basement BTW)”

The following day I was presenting at a sales conference and my booth wasn't delivered, so I had to recreate the entire booth from scratch. When I told Kenny what I needed, he did everything to get me what I wanted.

Returns . Marelly and Karen do a fantastic job at the return section . They are ALWAYS super friendly and helpful. I’ve called middle of the day and I’m a no one and Marelly knows my name . ( maybe caller id) she’s very personal and I wish more people you encounter in your day were as good as her . Always a smile on her face .
This is definitely a great Home Depot since it’s not a complete madhouse all the time .”
