“Wanted to stay near FMG, took a chance on Country Inn & Suites and was not disappointed. The lobby was clean and the staff were friendly, and who doesn’t love fresh coffee & cookies after a long day on the road?
Our room on the third floor looked out at Beltline and 96, and while we could see lots of traffic we heard nothing of it. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised at the quietness of the room overall. It was a very clean, comfortable stay.
Bonus: the door to the room doesn’t make a sound when it closes behind you. This means you don’t have to hear anyone else go in or out of their rooms nearby either.”

“Clean hotel with great pool and indoor/outdoor hot tub. The kids loved swimming for a night as a mini vacation.

I can’t give it 5 stars though because we paid more per night than I typically do and they do not include breakfast. It’s a pain to go get breakfast elsewhere with kids or pay extra versus walking downstairs and having the cost already part of the room rate.”

“This Roadway Inn is amazingly clean and comfortable. Thanks so much to J for the friendly check in. Bed was super comfortable. So much more than we expected for a budget stay during our cross country trek!”

“This is my favorite hotel in Grand Rapids- hands down. The staff is wonderful and the management as well. Every time I walk in I see my name on the IHG board ( I LOVE THIS) and it makes me feel like a VIP...so thank you! The breakfast food is top notch and delicious and there is a happy hour 3 days a week with wonderful beverages and dinner food. The amenities like the pool, hot tub and gym are always clean and operational and so fun!!! The rooms are wonderful and if there is an upgrade available, the staff ALWAYS takes care of me and I truly appreciate it. This hotel has a wonderful ambiance as well. I'd like to give a shout out to the staff who took care of us on our recent stay- we got checked in by Lex at the front desk and she was so helpful, friendly and welcoming and also a BIG Thank you to Logan Kejbo ( GM) he was so very attentive to all the details (and always a smile) and made everything that was good- even BETTER! Thank you!!!!”

“Stayed 2 nights. Pool and fitness room available but we didn't use. Gentlemen that looked after breakfast was awesome! He made sure that the egg trays and hot biscuit trays were always full and available. He always checked to make sure that guests were happy. We had eggs, fruit and toasted bagels the first morning and made our own waffles the next morning. Good value for the money.

Rooms: Rooms were average and featured coffee makers and fridge.

Walkability: Can walk to restaurants and shopping (Meijer's across the street)
