“Coffe is so so. The cookies that are $4.50 each don't bother buying unless you like the taste of salt, they are very dry oatmeal cookies. Staff friendly, store and pump area nice and clean.”

“I can't speak to how it was before it shut down for years, but as of now it's the cleanest and best gas station I've been to. Workers are friendly and respectful. The drink machine tastes fresh, and prices are comparable to or lower than the surrounding stores (especially CVS).”

“The BATHROOMS are SO BEAUTIFUL!!!The entire store from the shelves, food selection, my mans hot, fresh coffee, and the bathroom floors were immaculate like they were about to film a commercial. It was SO amazing inside the bathroom I had to take a few selfies. Nikky heard us talking about food and pointed out some more items I could look at. She was the kind of employee everyone wants and needs. I wish she worked near my house. I hope I get to see her again soon. She deserves a raise! Everyone working this morning does. They're keeping this store so so nice. ❤️”

“It's a great little convenience store gas station. The location could be a little bit better but there's nothing they can do about that. Love stopping in there. Except on Sunday mornings. They have their little chit chat session going. And it's hard to walk in the door. Whenever you do everybody just stares at you and watches you. But like I said I do love stopping in there”

“I recently had changed my route to work, I stopped at meijer gas station yesterday for the first time...Angel was working the counter..she was so chipper, polite and helpful. Her lovely energy started my day out great. I stopped again this morning and again the energy in the store was light, fun, and magnetic. Angel is an asset to your adrian meijer gas station. I will continue to frequent this station just because of her kindness.”

“I live almost right behind. Its close enough so i dont have to drive but i only walk for about 2 minutes. They have a great selection of drinks and snacks. I never leave empty handed. Although, my gas tank does hate the gas from there.”

“I always try to stop at Speedway if there is one close to where I am at. The store was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Speedway always has what I am looking for, and the gas is reasonable. It's worth it to shop there to accumulate speedy reward points. I love using my points on coffee. Speedway has the best gas station coffee in the business. Always a good experience coming here”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
