The Michigan Union is a beautiful and historic building that holds a special place in many hearts. Recently renovated with over $80 million, it has preserved its heritage pieces, including stained glass, colored friezes, and billiards-room lamp shades, while improving its functionality. The Union features multiple coffee shops and various food options, especially on the first floor, making it a great place to enjoy lunch or meet friends. The basement offers a nice space for relaxing and trying different restaurant foods, while the third floor has interesting areas for students, including cool activities and comfortable chairs. The Union also provides meeting spaces and large conference rooms for events. With improved accessibility, including an elevator to the mezzanine floors, it remains a lively hub for students and visitors. Many find it inspiring, memorable, and a place that can be both fun and meaningful.

Great place to host events and workshops! The team works closely with you to ensure it is absolutely spectacular. We ran our Industry-Academia Collaboration Workshop in the Michigan Union Pendleton Room and it was perfect for our guests (totaled 50-60 at any given point in time) and esteemed panelists and speakers!
