“Decent selection with lots of womens and some mens clothes along with vintage home decor. Prices can be higher than typical thrift stores (~$16 dollars for a ralph lauren button down or ~$10 for pants) and but if you catch them on a 40% off day or any other promotion day, it can be very worth it.”

“Great spot. Came in when they were running an estate sale. The owner is so nice and knowledgeable. It's much larger than it looks on the outside. Full main floor and a basement full! I was very impressed. I was just looking online you see if you were open today because I was going to pop-in and see what I missed the first time. The shop is literally full floor to ceiling with things from every era and style. Definitely worth the stop.”

“Hey guys dropping in for some QTNA, I just spoke with Tania and she was so helpful! Yes, Detroit Closet does buy shoes, clothes and accessories from 1-3pm on weekends. On weekdays it depends on how long they will buy but it’s based off their budget for the day. They open at 12 noon and close around 6pm. Hope this helps bc it helped me!”

“These are the BEST resale stores ever. I have shopped at at least 4 of them, however the Warren store has been my favorite since 2011. My granddaughter has been shopping with me since she was a little girl, she's nineteen now and she loves shopping there as well. “Favorite resale store. Convenient location in Pontiac on N. Telegraph Road. Check it out every Friday for specials on the tag colors. Only complaint is they use staples to anchor the clothes price tags. Get great bargains on pictures and lamps and more. Bought a wooden chair there years ago for $2.00. Cleaned it up and love it.”

“I live in the area and stop into this location at least once a month. I always find incredible brands and high-quality items at this store. The inventory is frequently changing, and they always have new items to browse. I have found that the prices are fair for the nicer selection that is offered, and overall the store is very clean and organized. This Monday, I was in the store shopping and an employee, Bill, was extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I am disappointed about is all of the Salvation Army locations ended their student/teacher discounts, which is quite the bummer. I do still love coming to this store and always find amazing treasures!”

“Wonderful Salvation Army. Have been here several times to donate my stuff as I was preparing for moving to another state. Wonderful and helpful staff. A bit slow in the donating department which is located in back of the store drive up area. On July 17, 2026 I approached the drive up area and it was closed in mid afternoon. Not sure why, perhaps no one working. They give you a receipt to sign for taxes preparation for following year. I highly recommended getting there mid afternoon on weekdays, not as busy in drop off donating center. Makes me feel great helping those in need and seeing them getting my donated stuff is going to good use.”
