“Words can not express how happy I am to have a "true" and "valued" True Value near me. I have a couple of other locations closer. But this shop takes the cake. Screen Doors done in house and a commitment to understanding what thier customers need and not looking to over sell what they don't need.
Randy is amazing and totally helped me with a mini project. My idea would of cost be a bunch in parts and have me doing a bunch of labor and not sure I could of even done it.

“HFT has stepped up their game vs many years ago. Good variety on some things, not so much on others. Sales are a gimmick. Wish the prices were just set instead of the circus involvement to get today's $0.50 off. Hate the email / phone number thing. Wish they would just sell me the wrench without asking for personal info. It's a tool store.”

“This is a great family owned local neighborhood hardware store. I went to two major chain hardware stores (Ace Hardware and Home Depot) first in an attempt to get a specific key copied but neither one carried the key template to make the key.Ironically, the Home Depot store employee recommended that I try Miller's Pro Hardware right down the street and I'm glad I did. Miller's Pro Hardware was able to make copies of my key for me (in less than 5 minutes) and provided phenomenal customer service in the process. From now on, I'm going to Miller's first.”

“Barb, the manager, and Quany, the Cashier at Ace Hardware in downtown Farmington are so helpful and welcoming. I feel valued and have a great time when I shop there. They welcome me, and have suggested gift ideas when I ask for help. Plus they always make sure I get assistance if something is too heavy for me to lift and put in my cart or car. NO question this location has the best staff, plus their layout and merchandise rocks! It's easy to find things and they keep adding more and more variety of things to purchase, even as gifts!”

“I was in need of a couple small hardware items that did not seem to be available locally, and for which shipping costs made it prohibitive ($3 for the items plus $15-$20 S&H!). RBrooke was no different - when I emailed they said sorry, their sales & shipping process makes cheaper impossible for internet sales. BUT then the guy on the other end said, "But I just could send you the parts for free." Arrived a few days later, at no cost to me. I can't say much for their process, but the people and customer service philosophy are excellent!”

“They cut screws to size and check to see that the nut threads! Not exactly a hardware store which is a shame since Frentz is closing. Quite a few options though. The stinky chemical fragrance smell has gone down some thankfully. Always get good service. Tend to find the odd things I need. A tiny bit more expensive but a lot less stressful so it's worth it. I really wish they carried more oddball supplies. Bird seed and puzzles are some of the weird things I've bought here lol.”
