I once was behind a fella who had to ship a makeup bag abroad to a visitor who recently left it behind. The ups associate explained that it all needed to be recorded and it will take a while. He started getting frustrated.
I work in shipping and receiving and was gearing up to explain to the guy that it’s not her call… and it’s probably not even UPS’s call. If he wants to yell at someone, yell a customs, and btw, good luck with that!
The associate stuck to her guns but diffused the situation and never suggested it’d be done any sooner than possible.
Very poised and sophisticated workers in this store.
I should have gotten her name, but I’ve never been treated in anyway there, that wasn’t professional and kind.
AMAZON RETURN NOTE:
I’ve never been judged for multiple Amazon returns. PLUS: Whenever I’ve brought in a return and there’s no line, they’ve always motioned me to the counter to do it for me. If you’re not comfortable using the self-serve station, wait for an associate to help if there’s a line. No problem. No drama.
I love my drivers too. My supervisor and I always try to drop what we’re doing and unload them asap. For this reason our driver does everything he can to accommodate us. That’s very valuable to us as delays really screw up the workflow. Treat your ups people like gold and they’ll return the favor.”

“Just had the best interaction with the employees of this location. I had a medication that needs to be overnight shipped due to temperature affecting the safety and effectiveness of it. It got lost in Memphis TN for awhile and was nearing the date of loss by end of day Saturday (today). It finally entered this location and we talked to the man at the front desk and he was very kind and told us he would find people to go in the back and look for it so I didn't have to wait until Monday for a medication that would be unsafe by then. He was able to get Sheree and Bruce to look and they found it before close. I am forever grateful to all of them! Thank you for the excellent customer service. If their boss sees this, they all deserve a raise!”
“I had a good experience going to drop off my item inside UPS store. Yesterday was the problem when they did knock at my door and I got a doorbell and they left a piece of paper where I I have to go pick it up. I thought that was wrong. You should’ve rung the doorbell, but you didn’t. You just left a little piece of paper.”

“If you simply need to drop off a prepaid/pre-labeled UPS package and have a prescription to pick up or some other CVS items, this is definitely convenient.
Very easy, very fast. And as stated if have to stop here anyway, saves you an extra stop at UPS.
Although I have not done so, but my understanding is you can have UPS drop off packages for you here for little extra security, instead of leaving on a porch.”

She was older African-American female with a grayish hair. I hate to guess a woman’s age, but I’m guessing in her 60s and she deserves a round of applause for her great service. She’s the kind of person I would hire in a minute for my own business.”
