“I was visiting family in Michigan 3-6 Nov 2023. I had to leave Mon 6 Nov to head back to IL (6+ hour drive).Upon leaving my parents', my check gauges light illuminated. Apparently my battery gauge wanted to take a nap.My Dad is a mechanic, but at that time was post - op, so he couldn't do any work. He was able to determine it was most likely the alternator.This was just before 8am and my Dad called Total Tire in Mesick. They answered, even though they weren't officially open yet.My Dad explained the situation to Greg and he told Dad they were swamped, but to bring the Jeep in and he would see what he can do.Greg looked at my Jeep and confirmed it was the alternator.My Dad came to pick me up while I waited. Not long after, Greg called with an estimate $ and time she would be done.He was within 20 minutes of his time estimate! Yay!They easily could have brushed me off, but didn't.Yes, they were busy. But he got my Jeep in and I made it home safely.I would definitely recommend this automotive shop. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.Keep up the great work!”

“This guy here is terrific, we were the classic family up north on vacation with a vehicle breakdown at 3pm on Friday afternoon. He graciously dropped everything he was doing and got our vehicle in his shop and started working immediately to get us back on the road. He even had to make a trip up to Traverse City to get the parts. His shop is clean and he's very knowledgeable. The price he charged was a better price than I would have got for scheduled work around my house in Lansing area.”
