“What a great store. We were biking on the North Central Rail Trail and it was just off the trail. Nice selection of snacks and drinks and the owner bakes her own cookies and bread - the smell when you walk into the store is amazing!”

“We had a tire blowout on our RV, I stopped in looking for a tool. Paul went above and beyond in offering us tools and his help. We were there for hours trying working on it. Paul and John were seriously so nice and helpful, and busy going out to the cars that came in cleaning windshields. Not many places like this around anymore.”

“I called looking for a tire plug kit because I had a flat. They didn’t have any for sale, but the owner went above and beyond, he offered to let me borrow his personal plug kit so I could get back on the road. You don’t see that kind of kindness very often anymore.

Thank you, Andy, for helping me out when you didn’t have to. Your generosity meant a lot, and I truly appreciate it. Businesses like yours make this community great.”

“It's hard to find gas stations open in the UP and area, this one is open 24hrs. The restrooms were find, cashier and service were fine. We bought snacks and got back on the road. The drink station was not working but gas was the most important- buy a bottled drink.”

“I broke down on my way to the UP and rolled into the parking lot. I went in and explained what was going on, the man behind the counter I believe was the owner. He had patients for the situation and was helpful getting me the info I needed to get back on my way. Nice clean store, didn't explore inventory much, but did spend some money there out of appreciation. Will definitely make it a stopping point on future road trips.”

“When out motoring, it may become necessary to replenish your fuel supply. This is the place to do it. No one loiters here. There are no teenagers trying to buy beer as this location has none to sell. No bored tourists leafing through magazines as their unattended children fight and block aisles. This Shell exists almost solely to do what gas stations do. Sell gasoline for your internal combustion engine.”
